There was a funky/musty smell that was quite off-putting in the entrance hall but the bedroom area was good. The nearest restaurant is a kilometre away. "The hotel looks modern and very well maintained. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a surprisingly wide selection for a three-star hotel. We stayed in a standard double room, and it was much bigger than we expected. The bed was also extremely comfortable. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we would definitely recommend this hotel."

"What a great hotel 👍 A lovely, historic building in the centre of a gorgeous town with very friendly locals, supermarkets , pubs and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and there is free gated private parking. Breakfast was sooo good. Plus it’s dog friendly (€13.50 supplement) We had a smashing stay and would be delighted to recommend it to everyone. ❤️"
