「Location is everything in this case. Sitting right on the edge of the Great Sand Dunes National Park, this place offers the closest view of the dunes and mountains from the room’s patio. Other than camping in the park, this is the only good option. We loved sitting on the patio with a glass of wine watching the sunset as it cast shadows in the dunes. 「Room was clean and comfortable. AC/heat great. Bathroom updated and nice. Owners very responsive. All done through phone call and text. Easy and flexible checkin and out, no waiting in line at a desk and meeting office hours. Cafe is quaint and provides great coffee. Can order meals ahead to be served. Only had time for morning coffee but it was hot, ready as advertised and delicious. Grounds safe and beautiful.」
