「Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful especially Jayne. Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked. The view from the room’s balcony was spectacular.」

「The pros: really good value for money and a very affordable single room - by far the lowest price when I was booking, highly accessible location near the connection of the two main A roads in the area, characterful ancient building with a pub and beer garden on ground floor stocking local ales, quaint village setting and public square to the front, it's not actually on the main road itself so outside noise wasn't too bad with the window open. The downsides: the reception or check-in is not...

「Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.」

「A beautiful 16th century inn, everything is absolutely clean from the rooms to the stairs, the food is nothing out of this world but it was quite good, my Fifi was treated like a Diva. All was fantastic and for the price it's absolutely good value for money, the landlady she's absolutely great in every way and of course she's the heart and soul of the site. Thank you and we will come back. 5 stars」

「Perfect location for our needs. Town centre location, close to beaches, walking distance to people we were visiting. This is our 2nd year in a row at the accommodation and won’t be the last 」

「Our stay was very good every item you wound need was there for cooking Tv all towels and cleaned every day, if there was one downside it didn’t have a lift as we were on the second floor and being in our seventies couldn’t carry our cases up fortunately we contacted the reception and they sent a person to help which was great other than that couldn’t fought it,」

「We stayed at Waterland Farm as a family of 9 (plus 1 dog) for a long weekend break and it was brilliant. The house is very spacious with lots of facilities, including a toy room for the kids, a PS /x-box and old-school vinyl record player. The outdoor area is massive and the kids loved the football goal and playground. As it states the field isn’t secure for a dog as there are open areas but she still enjoyed a run around. Overall a great place to stay and we would return! 」

「Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.」

「COVID禍での滞在となりました。 営業していてくれただけでもありがたいですが、初滞在のホテルです。 パブの上階がホテルとなっているスタイルです。 夕食もパブで取れるので便利です。 チェックイン時は19時くらいでしたが、パブは盛況で混雑しており、チェックインに時間を要しました。 COVID対策で入り口での待ちが発生します。 食事も混雑していましたが、テーブルをすぐに準備してくれて、味も美味しかったです。 部屋は必要なものはそろっていますが、テーブルがないのが残念。 シャワーのお湯もすぐ出るし、朝食もフルブレックファストで満足の状態。 スタッフはフレンドリーで親切なのでまた滞在したいです。 」

「The hut was in a gorgeous location with sheep as neighbours. It was super cosy and comfortable and had all that we needed. Sat outside in the sun having our brekkie was lovely. The hot tub was great but took ages to heat up, maybe as it was a bit damp. We had a lovely time :) 」
