「The location to see the Hearst Castle and view the PCH vistas is excellent. The room stunk. The AC did not work. Two of the bathroom lights did not work. The shower head was positioned at about 4’10”. The cafe was pretty good. Service was not Would stay at some of the other hotels in the immediate area」

「We stayed for 2 nights at the Fireside Inn in Cambria and had an absolutely amazing time! The location is fantastic, sitting just steps away from the beach. The rooms are super cute, clean, and cozy. Having a cozy fireplace right in the room was such a special touch, perfect for relaxing in the evening. On top of that, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. They also offered a delicious continental breakfast in the morning, which was a wonderful way to start...

「This received a 9.6 rating on Expedia, which was far higher than other accommodations in the area. Overall, the property was just OK. The room was large, and relatively clean, but the property in general did not feel like a 9.6. Even with the bathroom fan on, the mirrors, steamed up during a hot shower, which tells me the fan isn’t working properly. The communal areas are fine, just nothing worthy of 9.6.」

「The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a nice partial ocean view. The staff were very nice, friendly, and welcoming. A few things to be aware of: there is no air conditioning, although a fan is provided. The office closes at 8:00 p.m., so there is no staff on-site overnight, the night manager is available by telephone if needed. The showerhead could also use an upgrade. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed my visit. I would consider staying here again.」
