"The garden is big and prescious, we enjoyed every bit of it! The house has everything you need for a cosy stay, even if its raining. If you want some privacy and long for a place to calw down, this is where you should stay. In case of boredom, there is a lovely piazza in monticiano, where you can find a bar, restaurant and supermarket during off-season. To get there its a ten minutes walk."

"We wanted to enjoy the Tuscany area and this house checked all the boxes for us. The photos can’t actually capture the true beauty of this place. The host, Camilla was so gracious and kind. Comfortable bed, kitchen well stocked with the dishes we needed. Full size refrigerator was nice too! It’s a little bit of a drive to the property but oh so worth it! "

"The villa is huge and well appointed with anything you could imagine There are two large dining rooms inside and several well appointed outside patio areas. The bucolic setting includes birds , roaming sheep down the hill meandering from field to field. Couldn’t be more restful! Also close enough to Siena , San gimingnano Assisi for day trips and even Florence Will definitely return. "

"Die Wohnung liegt ruhig im schönen Dorf Chiusdino, das Meer ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Pool eignet sich gut zum Baden. Es ist genug Platz für 4 Personen. Der Vermiter Paolo ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation war super. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"A return trip to this cottage which we first visited for just a few days sometime around 2012.The cottage is just as beautiful as it was then. It has been well maintained and the views remain heavenly!Castellina too has aged well. more restaurants, shopping, art and vineyards. A huge shoutout to Podere La Piaggia for a beautiful and memorable private tasting and lunch!"

"The views from this charming villa, the beautifully manicured grounds, the outdoor eating space, made our stay fantastic. The living area and kitchen were comfortable and functional. Bedrooms are not super bright but opening the shutters during the day helps immensely and each room has a great view! Luigi was very friendly and responsive. Would 100% book this place again. "

"Wow! The property is just amazing! Located on a vineyard, it is in close proximity to everything. (Sienna, San Gimignano, Castelina di Chianti) The appartment was roomy and great for a family of 4. "You have all the amenities of a large, historic villa - and also the real farmland all around you. Sheep, horses, dogs - beautiful, and not in your personal space (unless you want them to be!). Pasqualina and her son Francesco are perfect hosts. Incredibly responsive, even with a language barrier. If I return to Tuscany I would want to stay here again. Thank you so much."

"This was a great place. The place is well thought through and has a great vibe to it. It's a very good mix of ancient and modern part brought together. The walk across both the courtyards is calming. The chapel is peaceful. We got to stay both in the old and the new parts. The old part is good and will be great in good weather with a good group. The staff are really amazing and understanding. With our little one , they were very accommodating - esp the restaurant staff. We will go back in cooler weather once again "

"Our stay at Castello di Fonterutoli Wine Resort was full of charm and relaxation. The setting in the heart of Chianti is picture-perfect, surrounded by rolling vineyards and peaceful countryside views. The sunsets here were absolutely stunning, painting the hills in warm golden light. One of my favorite parts was ending each day with a relaxing bath in the beautiful tub—it added such a special touch to the stay. Dinner and breakfast at the resort were a real treat, with fresh, flavorful dishes and local wines that made each meal memorable. The staff were very gracious and made us feel so welcome. It’s the perfect place to slow down, enjoy incredible food and wine, and soak in the beauty of Tuscany."
