The space it’s lovely. Very good service and location. The pool room doesn’t really have a view to the ocean since it’s ground floor but still a nice place to stay.

Cool spot near the beach
Really cool spot very close to the beach. We loved the personal plunge pool and the space. The mezcal bar downstairs was also amazing. We loved having cocktails in the pool in the evening. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and they only give one pillow each and one single sheet. The air con was a god send. It’s not the most put together place, but that was part of its charm, and we really loved it.
Could be nice with a little effort, rustic at best
We choose this property based on the reviews, they can usually give an accurate portrayal. We were disappointed from
the start. First there is no one that presents themselves at checkin as a host/Mrg.. After a few minutes they found our room.. it was stark to say the least, void of any decor. a bed and 2 night stands. suit cases in the floor and 5 hangers, there was a kitchen. We were able to cook a basic breakfast and make coffee. It was totally basic to rustic. From the start we told no housekeeping and only one towel per guests, we were there 6 nights?? the wifi was a challenge, but they did sort it out and one day someone cleaned the room unexpectedly and left fresh towels and even a bath mat. The pool is not one to lounge by, or even take a lap. it is more like a narrow cement trench surrounded by trees with no sun. I hate leaving a bad review, this place is not priced like a hostel..perhaps that would of taken the sting out of our stay.
Chill place to stay, excellent mezcal bar (Gota Gorda) with great staff attached to the hotel. Having a front desk/reception would greatly enhance the guest experience.
They are still in construction so the rooms are afforable and worth it. NIce pool area and big, clean rooms. Wish there were hotter showers and shampoo provided. Worth it at the current price point.
Spent 2 weeks in the executive suite - which is not part of the main property but a couple
Minutes walk up the road. The plunge pool was a life saver with the heat and we spent most of our day in it. Room had A/C and a fan and amazing views. The pool was very well maintained. 10/10would stay here again and highly recommend !!
The room was rustic but large. Kitchen was very basic. Short walk to the beach and the main strip through town. No real signage so it was hard to find and no lobby, no one to greet us. The bartender at the bar next door phoned to find out what suite we were in. Key was in the door. For the money I thought it was OK value.
Im all for minimalism but this takes it too another level. This place has no right to bill itself as a hotel when there is no onsite staff that one can contact to address concerns
1. No flat floor. The kitchen is on a different level than the rest of the flat. A step up is required to the bathroom and bedroom. In the dark at night, going into either spaces could lead to a stubbed toe or perhaps even a fall.
2. The sheets on the bed had no elastic to hug the underside; hence, they come off the bed and get scrambled during the night
3. No paper towels and one thin bar of soap and one packet of shampoo.
You can do much betteer at a significantly lower price.
Disappointing. The room felt half completed, there just wasn't a lot of thought in the details. For the price, it was really a rip off. Two tiny towels were given only changed once a week, for a beach location and the price it would have been nice to have two per person. The shower had no door so water got all over the bathroom creating a bad slip hazard, and there was no floor mat. No shelf in the shower to hang anything, so you had to reach to the sink to grab your shampoo, creating more of a mess. The sink had a catch that wasn't cleaned before our stay and it was disgusting. The umbrella provided was just big enough for one person and couldn't handle the wind at the beach, so we had to rent a better one. The bag storage was just the corner or the bar downstairs completely open to the public, didn't feel secure at all so we took ours to the beach instead. Getting the picture?
This review in no way reflects the bar. We had a great time tasting all the artisanal mezcals there, so don't hesitate to visit. Just don't stay there.
No volveria.

Realmente recomendable!
