This was a nice, minimalist hotel for our stay. More of a boutique hotel. Just steps from the beach, with some cute pups and kitties on the grounds. The restaurant was ok, not our favorite of the trip, but not bad. Relatively quiet, but if you're sensitive to the sounds of other guests outside your window, then bring earplugs.

I loved that it was literally on the beach. Friendly staff in hotel and for the most part in the attached restaurant. Overall it was a good experience.

If you are looking for a no frills but beautiful stay near the beach look no further. The property abuts two gorgeous beaches literally steps away from the hotel. Breakfast is simple and included. Staff are accommodating and kind. Daily housekeeping! The owner, Alberto, was knowledgeable and welcoming. The hotel also has a great restaurant open on the weekends that is wonderful! Overall, I’d give a 10/10.

Do Not Recommend. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this is fine. I did request an ocean view, and I got it! However, the windows were shut closed completely, the room was humid, and don’t forget the mosquitoes. Also, please note that you can’t sit outside by the restaurant on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—it’s only for restaurant customers.

Loved staying here... the rooms are basic, but comfortable. Loved the staff. Hotel has great view out of the back and beautiful garden area. Continental breakfast met our expectations.

We loved staying at the playita. Great quiet place very clean and close to a lot of restaurants and 2 steps down to the beach. The cafecito in the morning was my favorite thing every morning. We love chatting with Mary and playing with coco and arena, the 2 dogs in the hotel. We will be back!

I am so happy I chose this hotel! It was perfect!! You are literally steps away from the beach! I mean steps! They set you up with free breakfast every morning ! There are 2 dogs on property soo friendly and cute and well taken care of. Many restaurants walking distance. Powerful AC I loved. They give you beach towels, there’s a community basket of sunscreen and bug spray. You can hear the frogs at night. I am definitely staying here again!

no entrance to the beach, you have two choices, walk a couple of blocks to one beach or go across the road to the other beach the staff were very helpful, the building was old but clean
