"This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. "

"Miss the mansion. Also, key code did not work and we had to borrow another visitor's phone to contact office for a new code. They need management there. There were a few minor repairs needed in the bathroom; I took care of the squeaky hinges and tightened the toilet seat. Left the tub trim and TP holder for them.

"Charming hotel with lots of character and friendly staff. The room was clean but had a lingering cigarette smell, which was a bit disappointing. It got warm in the living area, so we opened the sliding glass door—though a screen would’ve been nice. I didn’t keep it open long since I was worried about critters getting in. The highlight was the on-site café: delicious food and a great variety. Overall, a good stay with some nice old-school charm."

"Great little cabin that was well furnished and very clean. The owner were accommodating and the cabin had extra amenities. We enjoyed staying there. Easy to get to Friday Harbor and other parts of the island. "
"Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from. Yard was too cool to sit out in in the evenings in mid July, as no fires allowed, but the location was great for driving (or walking) into Friday Harbor and it was quiet. The kitchen was impressively stocked for its compact size and the washing machine/dryer was right there too. Bed in bedroom was super comfortable (even for me with a bad back), but 3rd person had to sleep on sofa bed that took up most of the living room when pulled out, and the blinds were translucent (and non-existent in kitchen), so only works if you don't need it dark to sleep late in the mornings. "
