Room is clean but need a light in the closet area. The staff are very kind and show respect. I will most likely to stay here again and will invite more brothers from Freemason to stay here every Annual Communication.

I recently stayed at Nob Hill Hotel for the second time, and unfortunately this visit was not as pleasant as my stay four months ago. The noise level at night has become a real issue — constant ambulance, fire department, police activity, and early‑morning garbage pickup and street cleaning made it difficult to rest. The hotel offers complimentary coffee and tea, but the coffee quality was very poor. I stayed for eight nights and requested room service once during the middle of my stay. The towels were replaced, but the sheets were not changed, and I’m not sure the room was cleaned properly. I appreciate the hotel’s location and historic charm, but the overall experience this time was disappointing compared to my previous visit.

Stayed one night and would stay again without hesitation. Although our room was small, it was cozy and sufficient. No surprises as pictures and description of the hotel, rooms, and area were factual and we were not disappointed. Valet service and continental breakfast were a plus.

Das Hotel hat eine zentrale Lage, man kann zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichen. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber ausreichend. Im Eingangsbereich steht ein Kaffeeautomat, man kann sich jederzeit bedienen. Mein Zimmer war im 5. Stock, nach hinten gelegen, absolut ruhig und neu renoviert.

The place is in a good location. A few small improvements could make this better. My fridge was inaccessible due to the way the doors were installed and its placement against the bed. The water for the shower took a very long time to get hot. Also, the carpet on the stairs was in very bad shape. With that being in the lobby it gives the place a bad look. Otherwise the housekeeper did a great job and I had what I needed.

Hotel sits on a steep incline, you have an antiquated elevator that is a pain to use and fit people and luggage in, not to mention wrangling the elevator door and luggage when you reach your floor in those tiny narrow corridors. Place is old as dirt, expectedly, but could use sprucing up. Breakfast is as non-existent as your parking availability, they charged me for 2 nights of Valet parking when I only used them one night, and I could not get a refund for that night. The bathroom was so small I almost had to open the door for a breath of air. The sink pedestal (if you can call it that) is so small, you can't put soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste on it, it only holds a handful of water. Very inconvenient to do anything in or around this Hotel, including and especially parking. Watch out for luggage when unloading, or it will end up at the bottom of the hill. For the price, I would have rather stayed home and done a BBQ for these two days!

The hotel had a large well fed rat that joined us for breakfast. The fifth floor had windows without a guard that opened fully and started just a few feet from the floor. It felt a little too dangerous for my taste to be exposed to the 5th floor drop. Not a family friendly location.

Good location with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. There's a good coffee shop next door and a mediterranean restaurant connected to the hotel. The room was small however and hard to move around. The sink in the bathroom was especially small and there were no surfaces for putting down toiletries. They have a continental breakfast which I didn't partake in but it looked OK. Staff was friendly but didn't have a lot of info about the city. Overall I would say it's a good deal if you're looking to save money.
