The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property is super outdated. The breakfast consisted of dry cereal, white bread, oranges, and packaged oatmeal. The location is really good.

Nice quaint hotel, centrally located. It was very clean, from the bathroom to the sheets. The room was small but manageable. Only issue was with noise. Walls are thin. A fire alarm went off on for an hour in another room and for some reason it kept going and going. But other than that a good stay.

The property was clean, close to the main transportation hub, and shopping area. Quick ride to many attractions including the Pier. Staff was friendly. Don't expect a traditional continental breakfast. Only served wheat bread for toast, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, milk, & orange juice. There is no air conditioner or fan in the hotel. Some rooms have microwave. The room I stayed, did not have a microwave, and the bed was extremely hard.

Old world charm and in the heart of Union Square. Old classic San Francisco architecture. Walking distance to tons of shopping, dining and cultural amenities. Public transportation including the famous cable cars just 3 blocks away. Kings size bed very comfortable. Pleasant staff too. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fitzgerald.

Decent, budget hotel in a good location, minutes walk from Union Square and about 15 minutes walk from Chinatown. Plenty of shops, bars and dining options close by. This review might have been stronger but for the condition of the property in the online photos compared to reality.
