Great location

We loved the location. Nice quiet middle class neighborhood. The beach is just 15 minutes away. The grocery store is 5 mins away. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably. The master shower was small. The 2nd restroom and shower were bigger. Not a biggie though. Pots and pans available for use. Cute clean backyard with tables. Parking big enough to park a big suv with enough space to walk around. Ana responded within a reasonable time when I messaged.

Allied Gardens stay

Our 9 day stay worked out very well. We had family living nearby. Groceries and restaurants are close and location is central to many major San Diego attractions.

Perfect Family Getaway

We came to San Diego to visit family we hadn’t seen in a while, and this house was absolutely PERFECT for the trip! It was clean, had all the amenities we could ever need plus some, and it provided a great place for us to all hang out and visit with each other. The rooms were all perfect, the backyard was great for the kids to play in, the kitchen was perfect for cooking big family meals, and the location could not have been better. It was in a quiet neighborhood but still 15 minutes or less from all the places we visited. Highly recommend this location!

This was a perfect space for our family, 3 young children and 3 adults. Having an enclosed backyard was a huge bonus for us. The host was available, though we didn't need anything during our stay. Location was really convenient, near the highway, a grocery store, and tons of food nearby.

Great location to gather the family for SDSU Graduation

Had a good stay at Allied Gardens during my son's graduation from SDSU. The proximity (10 min via Montezuma) meant that we were able to get to campus easily. Plenty of bedrooms for the 4 adults we had staying with us, in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard was great for us to enjoy the cool San Diego air (vs the sauna that is Austin, TX).

Perfect Summer Getaway

I stayed with my 3 teen girls for an end of school beginning of summer getaway. We are local (Orange County) so this was an easy drive. The house was perfectly suited for our needs and centrally located. The home was clean and comfortable and aesthetically pleasing including the outdoor spaces. It was a nice place to relax together, prepare meals, and spend time in our own spaces as well. Thank you for a lovely week.

Perfect place

The house is great, bedrooms are big, big comfortable couch, kitchen is perfect, big fridge, check in easy, had access to garage, clean, heaps of towels, couldn’t have asked for a better property, close to everything in San Diego.

Clean, comfortable & convenient!

Great location for day trips throughout San Diego area. Very clean :) Great layout. Garage was a plus. Cleanest fridge I’ve seen in a VRBO. Living area was roomy & larger than expected. Host had great communication. It would have been easy to ask for help but everything was perfect. Host even went out of the way to return a forgotten item free of charge. Thank you!

Both Pros and Cons to this stay

Ours was a 5 weeks stay for two seniors. The house was in a great neighborhood...quiet except for some barking dogs. The kitchen appliances were good. The space was good. The property manager was very responsive...before and during our stay. When I let her know that the property (esp. the master bedroom and bathroom) had a foul odor she responded that we could move and have the rest of our payment refunded. Given the OdoBan can in the closet and the many plug-ins in the bathroom drawers, the odor problem did not appear to be new. Unfortunately, finding another property and moving at such a late date was not feasible so we opted to stay. We just closed off the area of the house that had the worst odor problem. The kitchen was poorly stocked for a long stay of folks planning to cook almost all meals. Old pots and pans. No glass bake ware, etc. We spent $100 for items we needed. The guest bathroom grout in the shower was VERY VERY dirty. I asked for Soft Scrub with Clorox but instead received a large bottle of Lysol with instructions in Spanish. The cleaning brooms, mops, etc. were very dirty. The property manager brought clean ones upon request. There are no grab bars in either bath...problematic for seniors. Overall, this was not the property we hoped we were renting. We are used to giving and receiving 5 star reviews. I want to emphasize the responsiveness of the property owner but she couldn't fix the odor problem and I believe she did not know about the dirty guest bathroom grout.

San Diego Family trip

My biggest reason for giving a 4 star rating is due to the lack of cleanliness. The bathtub/shower pictures are not included in the pictures so I was surprised on arrival. The shower curtains had stains and a moldy smell. The shower gels were not labeled but we ended up buying our own anyways. The towels were not the cleanest so we ended up buying our own towels as well. The bath tub/shower tile could definitely be repaired to give a cleaner look and it would make a huge difference in the quality of your property. The living room mat/carpet had a moldy smell. The living room TV apps (Netflix, Prime, etc.) didn't work. The Blueray is very outdated and the TV is also outdated. Just updating it to an average smart TV would be an easy fix for people to just screenshare from their own smart devices. Overall the lack of cleanliness was my biggest complaint. Otherwise the laundry worked great which was important to wash our clothes/towels. Huge refrigerator. Very spacious house with large rooms. Beds were comfortable. Great quiet neighborhood. 15 mins to every major tourist spots. Check in/out was seamless. Communication with the manager was also easy. She was very nice. Loved the hardwood floor in the livingroom, kitchen, and master. Very spacious kitchen and dining area. I emphasize most on the cleanliness so they get a 4 star but otherwise everything else worked out really well for our family. Just a few changes could really make a profound impact on your quality and value of your property. Great potential!

House was in a decent neighborhood. The lay out was good. The beds were quite hard and not comfortable. The kitchen had the bare minimum with dishes so you had to be on top of getting them clean. The house wasn’t the cleanest. It’s a fine place if all you are doing is come and going. The owner is responsive so that is helpful.

A great place in San Diego

This house was remodelled, so everything looks beautiful and clean. We have two familys stayed there for 4 nights, and we love this place. It is close to the beach. You can go to visit La Jolla cove to see seals and swimming. The owner of the house really care about you, your checking process, how you feel when you was living there. I would recommend this place.
