Other than a wonky toilet seat and a small cockroach invasion (which we safely released back into the wild!), this was a very pleasant stay. The location is tucked away on the quieter north side, yet it’s right by the beach and still close to some of the best food spots, shops and beach activities. The included parking was the cherry on top. Definitely recommended!

Staff were friendly from start to finish. Location is AMAZING, steps away from Pacific Beach. Walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. Dog friendly, dogs allowed on beach before 9AM and after 6 PM. BUSY beach and walking path. Huge bedrooms with good air conditioning. Pool looked clean. The only issue is parking. You are given a parking pass but are not guaranteed a parking space near your room especially at night. You may end up parking on the backside by the alley of the hotel or along the street if space isn't claimed early. There are a few unhoused folks near the hotel and by the beach.

Great little beach motel, just steps from the sand. Our room was clean, the two queen beds were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Their rates are very reasonable (we paid about $300/night in season mid-June mid-week). The complex was quiet at night, and parking on-site was easy. Good bars and restaurants a five minute walk away. We'd stay here again, no question!

As with most of the older properties near pacific beach they are aged and lacking in some areas and great in others. PS is no different, it's location is it's strongest asset. It's right there a 200-300 foot walk and there is Pacific Beach in all it's glory. A/C is probably the biggest issue the A/C unit in my room looked like it was in the Korean War However, it did work just wasn't pushing enough cool air for as hot as it was, A box fan was also provided which did help, but wasn't enough. So we went to target and got another box fan which made it bearable. I can't report on others rooms but ours was sufficient as far as the other items in the room.

Family friendly, doggie friendly. The cleaning staff go above and beyond. Never seen so many people cleaning a property consistently. Front desk were very accommodating and kind. Definitely will go back! Gorgeous beach!
