Having previously stayed here when it was the days inn. We booked again. It's abit older, it's had a slap of paint and a facelift, air con units are noisey. no breakfast other than coffee provided. It's in an average part of town now with homeless near by. Staff were friendly enough and cleaners did a good job though!

Rooms were clean and pest free. It was loud at times because we were given a room outside the elevator. Upstairs neighbors woke us up one night at like 2am on a weekday which was a bit annoying. There’s a little convenience store at check in which was nice. The staff were friendly and polite. Good location for walking or a short bus/car ride to little Italy, petco park, and balboa park. A longer trolley and bus ride to mission beach but very doable and bus passes are cheap

Do not judge this book by its cover! Our room was spacious and clean with a recently renovated bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and despite being with on the corner, street noise was not bad at all. The staff was so nice; dining recommendations were on point every time we asked! Would stay here again!
