"I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. "We had such a wonderful stay at Namu Garden & Spa! The location is beautiful—just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of town, but it still feels peaceful and tucked away. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything about the space felt thoughtful and well cared for. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way—super responsive on WhatsApp and always willing to go the extra mile. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely stay here again!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Terrazas. The location is fantastic, close to a ton of restaurants and bars, and practically across the street from the beach. The staff is super welcoming and kind, and they even surprised me with dessert for my birthday. The rooms were very comfortable and the AC worked very well, as did the hot water for a shower. I also really enjoyed the toiletries; everything was top notch. I highly recommend. "

"We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. We weren't able to park our car in the lot as it was full but after contacting the host we were told it was fine to park on the other side of the lodge. Communication was fantastic with the staff and I really wish we had been able to enjoy the property during the day as it was beautiful and the pool was very inviting."
