Beautiful home situated on a prominent corner in the neighborhood across from Dignowity Park! This is not a property you want to miss. Everything is new! Soaring ceilings, open concept created to entertain, large yard, and all the historic details you could ever dream of! Gated private parking available. Just 3 minutes away from Historic Downtown. The Tower of Americas, Riverwalk and The Alamo Dome are just some of the highlights.

Gate to the house did not close and that was the primary reason we booked the house. The couch was broken and really uncomfortable. Toilet in guest restroom has a crack in the bowl so water dripped until maintenance fixed. I was requested multiple times to give my credit card info to a third party despite booking through VRBO. Weird transaction all around. Not the best VRBO experience I've had. Could be improvements all around.

Convenient location, large home and loved having the gated parking. Kitchen needed more essentials like a can opener and towels were minimal to none for the amount of people the place could sleep.

Trip To San Antonio

House was beautifully decorated. It impressed our two teenage daughters which can be hard to do. Host was very responsive and the house provided a good home base to explore the city.

Cheaply renovated urban house.

Property was just an old urban house with a cheap face lift. Better than a frat house from college days but not much. Multiple fixtures kept coming apart (toilet paper holder, towel racks, faucets, etc), floor was very uneven, frame of the house was warped and doors kept swinging closed and most didn’t line up correctly in the jambs. Hot water heater did not support more than 3 people at most. Lots of cold showers. Had to convince kiddos that the gunshots down the street were fireworks. Typical downtown kind of stuff I guess. Most of the annoyance was really the quality of the renovations to this older home. So many things kept breaking or not working that it was more annoying than anything to have to stay there. Just a very cheaply done home that results in a lot of troubleshooting by the guest.

CAUTION - AVOID THIS! LANDLORD WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT!

Terrible experience. The house was filthy and several things didn’t work. But the major problem was that the landlord charged us $160 to replace a chair that was broken when we arrived. We didn't break the chair! It was so obvious the chair wasn’t usable that it didn’t even occur to us to report it. Had we known we might be held accountable for it, we absolutely would have told the landlord immediately. There were quite a few other deficiencies. People-in-need at Catholic Charity House next door began gathering and talking at 6:30 a.m. right outside the master bedroom. So, not possible to sleep past that, and casting doubt on safety and security at the location. Debris and hair, possibly from an animal, on sheets in front bedroom. Back door was unlocked when we arrived. Plastic plates so warped they are unusable. Kitchen table light burned out. Wall clock not working. A wad of hair in master bath sink, and one on floor. Two of the stove burners won't light. The rental had major flaws and the landlord will keep your deposit without cause!
