Wonderful Stay!

Me, my boyfriend and friends Stayed for only one night. But the home was wonderful! Easy to check into and the home itself was very clean. truly a great experience in a quiet neighborhood!

Large kitchen, comfy beds, and the number of baths were great for our family reunion. We liked the location because it was close to everything and anything. My only complaint is the carpet and the paint. The carpet is old and in need of replacement imo. The walls need painted, I'm sure due to the traffic a house like this gets from large families. It wasn't pretentious, so we were relaxed in the home. Grant was very responsive and helpful about the temp in the house, as we were here in the hottest time of the year. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Property as advertised. Was on a busy street. Not a big deal for most but we were not used to hearing street traffic. There was some confusion with the door code and we paid to check in early so not a good way to start our trip.

It was the perfect spot for us to stay for our son’s BMT graduation. It offered a cozy place to come back to during his town passes.

The house is very nice, with lots of space. It was in the perfect spot as we were going to Sea World while we were there. Only down fall was there was not shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in any of the bathrooms and they were supposed to be provided. I waited until after we left to tell our host as I didn't want anyone dropping by while we were out. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

Nice stay, big house

Great location, big house with lots of rooms, big kitchen, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Only issue (which wasnt a big deal because there is a store very closeby) was that the ice machine didnt work on the freezer. Or maybe I just couldnt figure it out. Either way, this place was a perfect stay and I 100% recommend.

The home is clean and can accommodate a family of six comfortably with more room to spare. The host is amazing at answering any questions very quickly. We had a wonderful time.

Great Stay

We had a great stay! The home was very clean and well-maintained. The whole family enjoyed spending time around the pool table and relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this location to others and look forward to returning in the future

Disappointing

This place was not clean and the yard was a mess. Some of the windows had no blinds. Toilets didn’t work properly. The kitchen was not properly stocked with utensils and cookware. I couldn’t even find a can opener anywhere. Ants in the kitchen and an overall pest problem. Stained bath towels and only 3 wash clothes for the entire house. I had to go buy dish towels for our stay. Overall very bad experience.

Family vacation

Was good for the group we had. House could use some up dated kitchen ware had to go buy a pan we did leave the new frying pan. Dish washer also did not work. But over all it was a good place for our family to come together.

Needs Deep Clean & Maintenance

Positives - hot tub (but the gas station right behind the house and street noise made it unrelaxing), pool table (but it was crowded), spacious living room (but a corner of the tv was dark), comfortable master bed, easy check-in, and responsive communication Cons - really needs a deep clean and maintenance, even with all lights on it was dark downstairs, cobwebs in SEVERAL places in multiple rooms, moldy master shower, discolored shower curtains, noisy and busy street and gas station behind the home, hard guest bed, hair in the fridge, master bath shower soap dispensers were emptyIn the end, we chose to leave a day early and check into a hotel. I should have listened to the negative reviews. The pictures portray a bright and clean home, but it was not and we were not comfortable. I didn’t see a point in contacting the host because it was too many things to resolve.

Short week in San Antonio

We came un on Monday late afternoon. We meaning 4 adults (father/sons outing). Check in went well. The house is nice and has decent accommodations. The cleanliness of the house left something to be desired even for 4 men. We had furnace issues on the 3rd day which the host promptly took care of. There were multiple lights that didnt work , especially in the kitchen which made the kitchen dark. We cooked most of our meals in and spent of the time in the kitchen area kitchen area.

Bmt graduation

In summary this location fit what we needed. It was 20 min drive to lackland. It was close to eating places. However the pics are a bit deceiving. This place could be 5 star with just some minor fixes but reading reviews it’s been recommended a long time and hasn’t been fixed. It wasn’t something that would have made us loose focus of our visit but was a bit eh Lots of cleaning needs to be done. Cobwebs in every corner we had to clean many down in every room baseboards have thick layer of built on dirt the whole place needs painted scruffs and dirt on walls when a wimple cleaning and paint could really drastically make that place look better. Was surprised there was an additional bed in one room but it was literally a rock the kids opted to sleep on the couch instead of that bed. They had plastic on them so it sounded like a diaper when you moved on the bed. So much upkeep needs to be done or that house will fall apart fast. Broken wood falling off back gutters the gutters are full sagging. The landscaping was dreadful we wanted to take photos at the house but it was really bad simply racking and cleaning up would be easy fix but it’s really trashy looking. The washer and dryer smell of mold the half bath toilet is nearly falling off the ground we couldn’t even use it for feet of falling off toilet. The pool table was nice but the bar in the pics doesn’t show how it literally prevents you from playing pool they should remove the bar you can’t even use it anyway.

Great Getaway!!

This property was exactly how the pictures showed. Very clean, very spacious and comfortable for my family of 8. We also had family that lived about 15 minutes away that came to visit. The location was very close to everything my family and I came to San Antonio to do.The only thing that could’ve have better was the lighting in the house. The living room was a little dark even with the lamps on. The kitchen lights were ok but it took us a little while to figure out how to turn the lights on and off. The light above the sink and the light in the downstairs hallways did not work. The pots and pans could be upgraded. All in all, we all really enjoyed this house and would love to stay there again should we ever come back to San Antonio.
