「Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!」

「Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!」

「This was our second holiday here and it was just as good as the first. We spent a lot of time reading in the lounge, watching the tide come in and out, and the shipping on the Southampton Water. The house is as described, but much better than the pictures can show. It is very comfortable with plenty of seating for six people, both in the lounge and the dining area. The galley kitchen is narrow, but perfectly functional. The stairs to the top bedroom are a bit steep, but there are sturdy...

Gives a wrong first impression,also picture of pub called The Woolpack is nowhere near the property,picture states outside which gives a wrong impression. Overall we liked the property & it was very clean & had everything we needed.」

「Merv, met us when we got to the house. Clear instructions given of checking in. Four of us stayed here to catch up. We had a curry from the Indian in Wincanton which was delivered and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, two rooms with double beds, one can be converted to a twin if needed and another room with a single bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. We had a walk round Wincanton, there is a Co-op which was open...

「The Barn was even better then we expected. Bigger then it shows on the photos. We stayed with a family of five, we have three boys ages 11-18 and where able to all fit in. Really near Wells & Bath and great opportunities for walking hiking in the Mendip Hills. Especially the cheddar gorge is great and challenging!」
