「The cabin is wonderful – great location, easy to get to, plenty of parking and it has everything you need. Just bring some food and you are all set. There are a lot of extras such as a fire pit with plenty of wood, a hammock and fresh eggs from the neighbor’s free range chickens. And the river is flowing by right there for you. Beautiful, clean water ready for you to catch your fish in. Definitely stay here if in the area.」

「This property has a great view of the White River. The host or manager will be adament with you about needing an awd or 4wd to access this property. Don't write him off he knows what he is talking about. This is a beautiful house with a million dollar view. However much like any house they tend to have their quirks. The down stairs half bathroom lacked a certain level of privacy (a door) . The kitchen sink doesn't drain properly it held a half a sink full of water for an extended period of time....

「We hit this place at one of the most unfortunate times… immediately following a tornado nearby. Power was out for arrival night, but the owner stayed in constant contact. They took great care of us throughout the lead-up and the stay. The home is so amazing. Downstairs/upstairs, both are great. Quiet, secluded area. River access and river view are both outstanding. Once again, you can’t go wrong on location, and you really can’t get better hosts.」

「The place was clean, beds comfortable, easy communication leading up to the stay and easy access into the property. Plenty of room throughout the property. Severe storms knocked power out for about 15 hours and the host offered a nearby property so we could shower and freshen up. The only 2 items that could use attention are patio furniture cushions need to be replaced and the dishes and glasses and cookware is pretty sparse for the group of 9 we had. Otherwise great property for the price.」

「The lake house is beautiful. My husband, myself and a young lady from our church stayed here. We had no problems communicating with the Host. She was very friendly and helpful. Loved the view of the lake. The salt water pool was great. Loved the hot tub. Definitely will stay here again. I recommend this place to anyone.」

「I got into town fairly late, and several other hotels were booked with workers who came to make repairs after the spring tornadoes. Then I found this hotel. Absolutely pristine, comfortable, quiet rooms inside. Easy, safe parking outside and they are dog friendly, at least for little dogs like mine. I had a much needed sleep in. My dog was so happy there that he did not want to leave. I stayed here before driving up to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. 」
