Spectacular view! This beautiful rustic chalet combines charm, comfort, and coziness for an unforgettable stay. Located in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, it accommodates up to 8 guests (pricing varies by number of people).
Perched at an altitude of 475 meters, the chalet promises peace and tranquility in a first-class setting, with a breathtaking 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Nestled in the heart of the Laurentians, Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides is a true mountain haven. This charming village is known for its rolling landscapes, peaceful lakes, and vast forests—perfect for hiking, cycling, or snowshoeing. It offers a warm and authentic atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle, yet only minutes away from Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Val-David, where you can enjoy restaurants, local markets, festivals, and cultural activities. In every season, the region becomes a playground: swimming and water sports in summer, breathtaking fall colors, skiing and snow activities in winter, and the tranquil beauty of spring.
Shopping:
It’s best to do your grocery shopping in your hometown before heading to the chalet. However, if you need to stop along the way, here are some good options:
-Local convenience store: Dépanneur, 2048 chemin de Ste-Lucie
-For a wider selection in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (on your route): Metro, SAQ, and our favorite for fresh, affordable produce in a welcoming setting, Marché Bourassa.
Activities nearby:
-Swimming: Lac Ménard (7 min) or Lac Sarrazin (8 min).
-Water sports: Rent a canoe, kayak, paddle boat, or windsurf board at Lac des Sables (Sainte-Agathe). For a family-friendly outing, rent from À l’Abordage in Val-David to paddle down the calm Rivière du Nord to Lac Raymond, with the option to return by shuttle or bike.
-Hiking: Explore forest trails directly from the chalet, or head to Mont Kaaikop (Centre de plein air L’Interval), where you can also enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain hiking.
The entire house is yours to enjoy.
Please note that this chalet is not fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
The chalet can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay: bedding, pillows, towels, soap, toilet paper, as well as kitchenware and utensils.
Bedroom layout:
Upstairs: 3 closed bedrooms with Queen beds + 1 single bed on the mezzanine
Basement: 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed
Tower (summer only): 5th bedroom with Queen bed
Bathrooms:
Ground floor: full bathroom with laundry area
Upstairs: half bathroom
Family-friendly amenities: baby crib, high chair, and child safety gates installed on the stairs.
Outdoors: four-season hot tub, BBQ, and outdoor firepit area (summer only).
You will enjoy a spectacular mountain view, a secluded location, and a setting that is ideal for gatherings with friends or family reunions.
Important Information – Access to the Chalet - A vehicle is essential to get around the area.
Winter season: Proper winter tires are mandatory.
*Access to the chalet: Do not drive up the cottage entrance unless you have a 4x4.
*Park vehicles at the bottom of the driveway in the designated parking area.
*Use the sleds provided to bring your belongings up to the property (approx. 100 meters / 330 feet).
Other seasons: Vehicles can be driven up to the top near the barn.
Please make sure all members of your group are aware of these instructions.
*Chalet Capacity – Up to 8 guests. Base rate for 4 occupants (ages 2 and up), with an additional charge per extra person.
*Hot Tub – Accessible and functional year-round.
*BBQ – During the cold season, if present on the terrace, guests are responsible for clearing snow, cleaning the grates, and refilling the propane tank if needed (no winter maintenance provided).
*Campfire – Summer only, when the designated black steel fire pit with grills is installed.
*Dogs are welcome (max. 2) at $75 + tax per dog, but must stay on the main floor. Safety gates are installed for pets and children. Please keep dogs off sofas and beds, clean up after them outside, and if there’s noticeable shedding at checkout, a quick brush or lint roll is appreciated.
*Cats are not permitted
*We provide soaps for cleaning, dishwashing, and hands, as well as 2 coffee makers, filters, and a grinder, but you’ll need to bring your own body/hair soap and ground coffee or beans.
*Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 5 p.m., check-out by 12 p.m. No Saturday arrivals or departures (exceptions possible upon request).
*Cameras – Outdoor only, facing the entrance. Recordings are kept for a maximum of 90 days.
*Pre-registration – Mandatory with ID to prevent fraud. Grants access to the Virtual Chalet Guide.
