「This would have easily been a 5-star review but for the inaccuracy of the property location listing. This property is located on Elephantine Island, not in Aswan proper as listed. If you’re packing with big roller bags, be aware of the walk to this guesthouse. It’s all dirt paths. That said, everything else was great. The place is clean, spacious and quiet. The host’s mom was as sweet and caring as could be. She cooked delicious breakfasts every morning and even volunteered to do some laundry...

"Le Méridien Cairo Airport was the perfect hotel for our stay. Its direct connection to the airport made it incredibly convenient, especially after long flights. Although we stayed for four nights, we spent one night in Sharm El Sheikh. We were able to leave our large luggage in our room during that time, and we felt completely comfortable and secure doing so. We dined at China Red and the Sports Bar, and every dish we tried was delicious. The complimentary bottled water provided every day was also greatly appreciated. We were especially touched by the honeymoon surprise. The beautiful bed decoration and delicious cake made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay here again."
