"Beautiful hotel made even better because of the staff. Sarah was just so lovely and Fani's homemade baking items at breakfast were totally outstanding. Lovely room, great plunge pool on the top floor and great amenities to go with that. The air conditioning was also great - thank goodness. "Pool is across the road but nice and relaxed. Staff were helpful, and answered all questions. Free shuttle to Punta Prima is worth using as well as the paid shuttle to Mahon. Private pool was not cleaned as much as we needed and our room smelt of mould/damp when the air con was off. Some facilities such as the shower, could do with updating."

"Great check-in, smooth, friendly and sharp. The hotel complex was clean and well maintained. There is a small supermarket on site which has most of the things you would need. Lots of families and kids, all well behaved! So it felt a nice atmosphere. Beautiful beach nearby approx 5 min walk with a couple of restaurants at either end of the beach. Apartment itself was nice and AC cooled, pre-equipped with pots and utensils, a dual hob, kettle, microwave, fridge freezer. The only issue was no oven, but the rest was adequate. Overall, we will be back!"

"The best hotel! Located in a perfect position in Mahon, about 30 seconds from the market and 2 minutes from the glass lift down to the Marina. The 2 men who worked the reception (sorry I cant remember the names!) were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay as good as it was!!!"

"Great hotel and location. We loved El Castell. Hotel could do with more sun loungers by the pool. There are two massive double sunbeds topped off which nobody could use. Also reception could be quicker to check in, a lot of forms to get a towel, most places give towel cards. Reception also needs to have better knowledge we asked about tapas places and somewhere to watch the England match and they couldn’t really help us"

The facilities are gorgeous, the room is comfortable and clean, the food is amongst the best on the island and the spa is top notch. I absolutely loved my stay and I will come back!
