Welcome to The Pointe House! Brand new remodeled home located in the heart of Russell's Point w/ fabulous lake views and boat dock for guests to use. Cozy is an understatement! Walk next door to Jack n Dos pizza and ice cream shop! Stunning remodel, original decor. 3 BRs, 2 FULL BATHS! Comfortably sleeps 6! Quartz Counters, Recessed Lighting, Electric Fireplace. Amenities include 4K HD TV w ROKU. WI-FI, Keurig Coffee Maker w/ Complimentary K-Cups, Microwave, Fridge, Range, Fully Furnished Kitchen.

VIDEO TOUR! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM3BaGgrQzg Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Outdoor area has a gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit for guests to use. Also an assigned boat dock with gated access.

Your cleaning fee pays for thorough cleaning/sanitation of all floors, counters, bathrooms, and linen service. In order to keep this fee to a minimum, guests are still expected to perform the following:

1) Please empty all (perishable) food/beverages from refrigerator/freezer and cupboards.
2) Please wash any used dishes. You may leave in strainer or dry and place in cupboards/shelves.
3) Please empty all trash. Trash must be bagged and placed in the large receptacle located in the driveway. Please do not leave trash on the porch.

This is a unique lot with 2 separate homes, both vacation rentals. The exterior space (driveway, yard, fire pit, furniture, etc) is considered community space and is shared with the other unit. However, each unit has its own boat dock.

Your cleaning fee pays for thorough cleaning/sanitation of all floors, counters, bathrooms, and linen service. In order to keep this fee to a minimum, guests are still expected to perform the following: 1) Please empty all (perishable) food/beverages from refrigerator/freezer and cupboards. 2) Please wash any used dishes. You may leave in strainer or dry and place in cupboards. 3) Please empty all trash. Trash must be bagged and placed in the large receptacle located in the driveway. Please do not leave trash on the front porch or in breezeway. 4) If you are renting the house Thursday night, guests are expected to roll the trash bins out to the curb prior to pickup Friday morning.

Parking at the home is limited to 4 vehicles or 3 vehicles + 1 trailer. Also we ask that guests please keep outside noise to a minimum after dusk.

Tidy and cute little cottage with everything we needed. Two of the bedrooms are pretty cozy, but functional. Kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t use the stove but the gas BBQ grill was great. Just note that a bright light shines all night in the parking lot next door, and also you’ll need to be able to navigate the spiral staircase. Check-in was a breeze, with good and prompt communication from the owner. The departure checklist was clear and simple. We had a very pleasant stay.

House/location is exactly as photos and description show. Comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Kitchen supported us cooking all meals on our own. Bonus for us was the proximity to the bike path for running, and it was a three mile run to one of the main beaches. Shaun was helpful and quick to reply when we had a question.

Hidden gem, excellent organization to maximize space in a small house. Only area of improvement that owners don’t have control over is several surrounding houses are run down and not taken care of.

Wonderful and cozy

I stayed the weekend with my two adult daughters as a getaway for their birthdays. It was wonderful and cozy, right next to a pizza/convenience store(really good pizza). Just be aware that the only way upstairs is the spiral staircase. We had everything we needed and then some.

Perfect Getaway

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cute cottage. It’s adorably decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor area with sun shades was perfect for playing cards and enjoying the fall weather. We also love that the brewery is just a short walk away. We will definitely be back next October!

Nice, but a few problems.

Kitchen well stocked for cooking/grilling. Nice patio. Bathrooms well stocked but could use handrails for safety. Spiral starecase makes it hard to get the luggage up/down. Fan and furnace return were filthy. Had to take the cover off the oscillating fan to get any air flow. Pizza shops sign light pointed to shine in 2 of the bedroom windows. Darkening shades would be an improvement.

Fabulous Vacation!!!

The four of us have traveled to Vegas, Florida, Kentucky at Cetera but all four of us said this was the best vacation that we’ve ever spent together! Having the boat dock, helped a lot! The central location was awesome! The place was clean, and well supplied! We wanted to turn right around and book it for next year and found that there are very few openings! We are trying to get together a week we can all take off together and get it booked ASAP! Thank you so much! We loved it!

The house was adorable. Loved the decor. Great loacation. The pizza and ice cream place next door was so good, they even brought the food over to us. So close to the grocery, Old Field Beach and donut shop. We fished off the docks and caught some catfish and perch. The owner was very responsive and fast. Would definitely stay there again.

Kitchen well appointed; We left some Decaf coffee for next guests; Very tasteful Decor; Master BR very comfy.; Other Queen beds tricky to access for 2 to sleep due to very slanted ceilings.; Good WiFi; No way to use fireplace, exhaust fans and lights need repair, and outdoor grill needs replaced fuel tank. . . several small details that made a difference.

This tiny cottage is excellent for a small, young family. Not so good for senior citizens.

Excellent location, very clean and well decorated. The spiral staircase is fine for young people, not for seniors; therefore we would not rent this property again.

Unique cottage on Indian Lake

This older home with it's unique architecture and sharp roof edges has been remodeled inside to quite a beautiful specimen. It astonished us on how spacious it felt inside as it appears smaller when looking at the outside. Spiral staircase leads to the 2nd floor which has 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Downstairs has an open concept living, kitchen and dinning area with its own full bathroom/laundry. Pictures do not do it justice. The home was clean, beautiful and well maintained. The lakeview from the kitchen window was spectacular. Parking was provided on the property, offstreet, which was important to us. We ventured to Mad River Mountain for skiing, which was only 20 minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinning experience at Indian Head Roadhouse just 500 feet or so down the road and an amazing take out pizza from Jac N Dos next door. There was a walking trail around the lake that started just down the road and a park in the neighborhood with a unique metal bridge. We definitely recommend this home and would stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations

The property was exactly as described, but it ultimately delivered a better stay than we expected. It was clean, well appointed, and in a great location. Having an accessible boat slip within a 3 min walk was excellent. Surprisingly comfortable for 6 people to stay in. Would be happy to stay on the property again. Great communication from the owner. Would like to again emphasize the cleanliness!

Perfect fit for a small family of 4

The house was great for a weekend getaway, access to the boat dock and within driving range of everything you would need. The only suggestion I would make is to bring extra towels since there didn't seem any were available other than what was provided. There could be more Utensils for the kitchen otherwise you have to go to town and get what you need. If you're going to relax and lounge, this is the perfect place. If you have kids and want a yard for them to play in, this is not the place. There are parks located throughout the lake and a few beaches within a few minutes drive. Overall, the house was comfortable and relaxing.

Indian Lake 4th

This is a very cute cottage. The only thing is to mark the dock the pointe house. Another boat was docked on our dock and we parked someplace else. Everything else in and out was lovely. The neighbors were friendly and helpful.
