This hotel is in a great location and couldn’t be happier to have a Coop downstairs. It does get a bit loud at night because of the bars/clubs maybe wear ear plugs if you’re sensitive to that. Booked a room with kitchenette and the room smelled murky like it was not well ventilated. Also the room was dusty and gave us quite abit of sinus issue during our stay. Always receiving attention because it seems to float on a major river, this structure had two predecessors that succumbed to time and climate.
This historic quarter is filled with medieval alleyways, Zurich’s finest churches, artisan’s shops and a hilltop featuring Roman ruins and sweeping city views.
It is far from the city, but it has a station very accesible, then it has near supermarkets and and outlet shopping with very good prices. The main advantage was the hotel shuttle, one disadvantage is that there are not much restaurants near.
Ok, more isolated and seemed like industrial area. Only stayed for one night, so didn’t mind.
Felt safe, easy to and from airpoty
Easy train ride into main station. Close to airport but quiet.

Convenient to airport and Zurich; nothing much to do specifically around the area.
