「The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable bed and relaxing room. The hosts were charming and very accommodating. Easy to find and access to area. Very GOOD」

「I think we had the smallest room at the hotel with a dog! We arrived at the hotel straight from the beach and while my husband was in the shower we discovered no towels were in the room. I had to go down two floors (lift broken!) just for staff to tell me sorry no towels available while they wait for their linen delivery. It would have been very helpful to be told this at check-in ten minutes prior! The room was boiling hot and no fan available in the whole hotel. We booked for three nights and...

「I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. 「An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months」

「Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!」

「The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.」

「I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

「Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.」

「A really tranquil and well thought out hotel. Great little touches like including an anniversary card in the room for us, and extra amenities in the spa. The staff were friendly and polite, the food was good quality. We ordered room service and the cheesecake was possibly the best I've ever had, it really was perfect 😂😍 the room was spacious and had a lovely little balcony with furniture, we even saw rabbits hopping around adding to the relaxing, retreat vibes.
