Charming hotel in the heart of Rouen. Minutes away by walking from the cathedral, the river Seine, shops and restaurants. My room spacious, clean, and included a balcony with amazing views of the Seine river and the cathedral. Breakfast was delicious and highly recommended so you can maximize the crowd free early morning exploration. Staff was very empathetic to my tardiness in checking in due to missing a connecting train from Paris and stayed late to check me in. Very much appreciated and I am definitely looking forward to staying at The Originals hotel again in the future.

Disappointed

We were not happy with this hotel and therefore left a day early. Our main concern was that there was little air circulation and no air condition, only a fan, that made an annoying noise, and if we opened the window there was a lot of noise from the street. Even though we were not in Rouen during a particularly hot time, the room was extremely warm. The hotel room only had basic facilities, no fridge or ironing board. There was no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast however was fine and the hotel was centrally located.

Fantastic centrally located hotel in the heart of Rouen. Note that (as advertised) there is no air conditioning in the room: a fan was provided which was all right during a cooler spell, but the room might get very hot during high summer. But an excellent place

1/2 block from the Seine River in a highly walkable lovely city. Close to the historic medieval heart. Do not miss the opportunity to stop at the Bacchus bar which is 1/2 towards the river. Excellent charcuterie and wine. The hotel is small, quiet and very accommodating.

La chambre etait très propre . Mais la VMC était un peu bruyante et la vue de notre fenetre donnait sur des toits de batiments avec des hubots . Le plus embêtant était le stationnement, aucune place de réservé pour l'hôtel, ce qui nous permettrait au moins de decharger nos bagages en toute tranquillité. Petit dejeuner tres correct . L'accueil du matin était tres sympathique . Un peu moins la veille à l'arrivée.
