My place is a beautifully renovated 1960's kiwi home. It is a cute house with 4 bedrooms (3x king, 2x king single beds) plus 2 bathrooms.

Location couldn't be better, close to everything your heart desires - world famous Redwoods forest, most well known for the network of superb mountain biking and walking tracks and for the magnificent stand of Californian Coast Redwoods is just a stroll away - lockable garage for your bikes available.

Clean towels, fresh linen, bedding & blankets provided.

Cozy home away from home - refurbished fully fenced home on 800m2 section, clean with comfy beds, luxurious linen & homely kitchen that leads to an open-plan dining and living area. Well insulated with a choice of two heat pumps.

Appliances and almost everything you need supplied, including all linen, towels, pillows & full kitchen appliances - wine glasses (white, red, bubbly) for that wind down after a full day of fun. TV with Netflix & DVD player in the lounge and the deck allows enjoying the sun.

We also have Nespresso machine - how can a day start without a great coffee, right? Fast Wifi, linen and towels provided :)

Great house

The location was great. Easy to get to anything in town in a few minutes. Loved the beds. Could use a few new knifes. Other than that was great for a family of 6.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this home It certainly met all our needs and was a clean and lovely inside. We do have one suggestion that is the mattresses could be a bit softer.

Rotorua Short Stay

Great location, just far enough away from the city centre to avoid the hubbub but close enough to drive in. Cosy and lots of sleeping room for family. It was tidy and clean and convenient for our group and the things they wanted to do and see while in Rotorua. Highly recommend to families.

The is very comfortable, and we all got 2 great nights sleep. The only negative is that the description states the home has been recently renovated. The home is in need of an interior freshen up, with a new coat of paint.

Very warm house

Older house with newer windows make the house nice and warm. All day sun. Big section and garage. We had e bikes but the power switch was not connected to the wall and had wires out. We found out a day before we arrived the drier was kaput. Also no food of any kind or salt and pepper. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The showers were great and 2 full bathrooms. The curtains let all the light through. However I would stay here again. Handy for what we needed. Mark C

Comfortable stay

Overall we had a good but not excellent stay. The best parts were the communication and responsiveness of the owner and manager (owner away but then manager was equally fantastic with communication) and also the beds were very comfortable and linen also great quality. We found the ‘newly renovated’ a stretch, as the property seemed a little tired. The glasses and mugs and just the cleanliness of the kitchen cupboards was not great- I guess that’s on their cleaner and how much they clean inside cupboards and checks dishwasher suitability? The worst part was the lounges. We stayed in winter, and as we’d travelled as a group, we spent a few hours chatting and wanting to relax in the lounge before heading back out. The lounges were really uncomfortable and there was no coffee table to put drinks/nibbles on - we made do, and used a blanket box instead- but those lounges were really unfortunate. With a good spring clean, lick of paint, perhaps access to Sky viewing, more thoughtful small touches regarding comfort, and larger changes like lounge replacement, our stay would have been much better. I wouldn’t rush to return based on our experience, but it was just fine for a brief, fairly central and affordable stay and comfortable beds to lay your head.

Easy to check in and great communication from the owners, was a cozy home and easily accessible for what we needed, great comfy beds.My only critique would be, the house could do with a bit of a deep scrub, especially one of the bathrooms, roof was covered in mould and both shower drains are in need of being unblocked.

Girls Trip

A great little space. Super warm. Showers are awesome, beds were cosy, just would suggest thicker curtains to block out the street light. Easy to find and close to the Redwoods where we based most of our activities for the weekend.

Warm and quiet

Quiet suburban street with easy access to the main road making getting around town straight forward. We stayed on a cold winters night, with temperature dropping to 2 degrees Celsius. The heat pump in the living area and bedroom kept our family nice and warm!

I am surprised at the recent reviews saying how clean this house was. It was terribly dirty - we vacuumed when we arrived as the floors were clearly dirty. We felt the need to wipe some surfaces down as soon as we arrived due to the state of them. On leaving and checking we had left nothing behind, we found empty drink bottles under beds and other items we didn’t want to explore. It was such a shame as 4 bedroom/2 bathroom aren’t always easy to find. I suggest a complete professional clean of the property would make the world of difference.
