Very special place in the heart of Rome

Our stay in the Flavia's apartment was amazing. The location is great - literally in the middle of the city center, a walkable distance to main historical places, 20 min to Vatican, 25 min to Forum / Colosseum. Note that the city center is quite large, so be prepared to walk a lot anyway (to my opinion, the best way to explore Rome is by walking). The apartment itself has a very nice old-style atmosphere with views of cozy streets and roofs like in story-tales. Everything appeared as in the pictures provided. Nightlife is literally downstairs - there are many pubs and restaurants nearby. Our hosts, Flavia and Nicola, were very kind to leave us a welcoming gift including some good wine with sweets and pasta - exactly what we needed after a long and late trip. We definitely want to stay at this place once again!

Wonderful apartment; functional kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to relax. Conveniently within 10-15 minute walk to major attractions. Small elevator was a bonus for old legs. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location for week in Rome

Stunning flat. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Absolutely perfect location—walking distance to many sites and easy to get around. Lovely small outdoor area was used every afternoon for wine and conversation. Only blip was a couple of noisy nights due to club in area. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a gem in a great location!

After returning from Sorrento for our last day in Rome, we selected this apartment due to proximity to Piazza Navona and other bustling areas. The best restaurants are literally outside the door and the common area was huge! I am only sorry we only had 1 day here but we will be back to stay again!

Rome Getaway

Traveling with 3 generations can be tricky but this vrbo offered a convenient elevator in a homelike atmosphere that offered modern convenience with old world charm! We hope to return to this beautiful location!

Great Location in Beautiful Rome

This beautiful flat is in a 500 year old building which matches this wonderful historic city. Plenty of room for my family and the location was perfect to some of the “must see” attractions that Rome has to offer. The communication was great with our host. I would definitely recommend this as a place to enjoy your Italy vacation with family and friends.

Location, location, location This flat is just a few hundred meters from piazza Navona and yet in a quiet street. Easy walk to most places in Rome Flavia was a fantastic host. Italy Vacation

Having the large apartment available for our time in Rome was invaluable! The location was perfect and allowed us to get to everywhere we needed to go within a short amount of time. We walked everywhere except the Colosseum (including the Vatican). There are markets and restaurants very close by as well. There was good communication, during our stay, from the property manager. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

The Beauty of Rome

We loved the apartment. It was clean and the location is perfect. Flavia, Mauro, Nicola were all wonderful. Very good communicators. The were helpful in arranging for transportation to and from the airport. A booklet is on site explaining “things to know” about the apartment along with info on restaurants and transportation. I highly recommend Flavia and the Navona Flat!

Additional taxes and Documentation.

There was an additional tax and the need to provide personal information (passports) that was requested by the property manager during the check in process, but was not clearly communicated on the VRBO listing. Beyond that the experience was wonderful.

Absolutely perfect

I can’t stress how amazing this apartment was! This was a family weekend to Rome. This place is huge and the photos don’t make you appreciate the size! You enter from the street and go through a locked gate on the staircase. The bedrooms are so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of space to sit and chat over a coffee (which I really enjoyed making my first ever stove top coffee!). There’s a table in the living room where we enjoyed morning croissant or a game of cards. The windows open wide and you’re immersed in the beautiful sounds of Rome! We stayed in the room with a circular staircase leading to a terrace. This was perfect for enjoying a peaceful beer on the evening. There was even a guitar that entertained my son! Positioning couldn’t be better. We never got a taxi or public transport because as long as you’re fairly mobile everything was in walking distance within the beautiful streets of Rome! We visited Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, Pantheon and Spanish steps all within easy reach of the apartment. Within seconds walk from your door is Piazza Navona with beautiful views and restaurants. There is a well stocked shop seconds from the door. The owners and check in manager kept in contact - even forming a convenient WhatsApp group which meant we could keep in touch when we arrived! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment and if you’re considering visiting Rome you really couldn’t ask for more!

Apartment is huge location is fantastic. Close to bars, restaurants, shops, etc. 3 min walk from Piazza Navona. We are 2 seniors who stayed for 4th of July with kids (50's) and grandaughters (18, 23). Apt so spacious, I still haven't seen all of it! Now I'll list the challenges-won't necessarily apply to you! Key system slightly complex, separate keys for front door, side door, elevator, entrance door. washer/dryer complex, took all night to do 1 load. Living room a/c needs "help" from master b/r so door needs to be kept open. Portable a/c unit in 1 br underpowered. Would we stay again-absolutely. Romance of Rome and Location certainly worth every Euro. The management is great too, easy to contact and very responsive!

Pick Me!

The property was in an absolutely perfect location. We could walk to Vatican City to the Colosseum to the pantheon to Piazza Verona and the Trevi fountain! Restaurants and bars were at our doorstep. The only caveat I have is that the stairs inside the apartment can be difficult for older guests. I am 78 and there were two bedrooms and one a bathroom I could not use. It is not a major problem as there were two other bedrooms on one level and a bathroom with a short step. I would definitely stay here again.
