Perfect location to everything you need. Hosts were easy to communicate with and helped provide the information needed for our transfer from our cruise port. Special care was shown by meeting in person to greet us.
Quiet, roomy, 3 min. from bus 64 & near train Roma S. Pietro
Very comfortable living space w. balcony in secure bldg & neighborhood. Large Carrefour across the street practically. Very responsive hosts. Great 5-day stay! Thank you!
This property is very convenient to stores, restaurants and taxi service in a nice neighborhood. The host was very communicative and quick to respond through the reservation process and gave clear and concise information re check-in. We had one minor issue during our stay and host personally arrived and took care of it in less than 20 minutes!

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
Great location, steps away from heart of Vatican.
The apartment was very specious, well furnished and comfortable. Perfect location, super close to Vatican. Rita- the property manager very nice, professional easy to communicate with and very helpful? but her associate, who came to greet us at the appointment wasn’t too welcoming. The apartment was overall pretty clean despite sticky floors in the kitchen and bathroom.
The apartment is very well located 15 minutes from St Peter's Basilica on foot and 30 minutes by bus from the old city center.
Street with shops and bus stop (line 64). Quiet area.
Beautiful balcony with open view.
Cute apartment, well appointed and functional.
Good bedding.
Basic and maintenance products available.
We'll come back.
We stayed in this Rome apartment over the past week. It was in a handy location, just up the road from the Vatican. Despite the proximity, the neighbourhood was relatively quiet. We loved using the spacious deck/patio with its great outlook. When we didn't eat out, we ate al fresco outside, The apartment has ample of room as far as European apartments go. There are a few quirky things to contend with, but there are clear instructions on how to do so. There are great bus connections into central Rome which we made full use of. Overall, we would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Rome.
The balcony provided a view of the top of the Vacatian building. The apartment was good for travelers. We toured the city and only used the apartment for a place to sleep and eat breakfast in the morning. The location is excellent you can walk a few blocks and you are at Vatican Square. A small tip if you want to go to the Vatican museum stand in line at 5:00 and you will get entrance until 7ish. A couple of house tips, is bring a two prong plug that has a few plugs for your electronic devices. If you forget you can get what you need at the grocery store right down the block across the street from the apartment or up the street from street vendors. Turn the hot water on prior to wanting to take a shower. BEFORE you walk in to take your shower cut the hot water button off so that the water that warmed up for your shower is pleasant. The elevator is small be prepared if you have lots of luggage and finally practice locking the door with the key and someone to open the door if you lock it. (LOL) I would stay here again. It was a pleasant place, and the owner provided quick feedback and the person that oversees the place kept in touch.
The apartment was great, exactly as described and clean. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. There are about 20 locations to eat at, some the equivalent of fast food some better quality (and more expensive). If you use the bus, take # 64. That will take you from the main Rome train terminal to the apartment. It’s about a 30 minute bus ride to the other end of the bus’s loop in Rome. Get off there and it’s a 5 minute walk to the apartment. Alternately stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and then it’ll drive around the corner and then get off! One warning- the elevator is small, rated for 3 people.
My wife and I relocated to Rome from US for three months for a work project and we picked this place for the location, price, and what it appeared to offer on the website. It was exactly as advertised. And we enjoyed calling it home. The place has two separate bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. We like a softer bed so we bought matress toppers and "donated" them to the room, so if you stay there you will appreciate the beds a little more! There is also a "living room" with a couch where two can sit and another chair as well. The terrace is really nice. Covered and breezy in the warm weather. The location is really 8-10 minutes from Saint Peter's square. The 62 and 64 bus stop right outside and take you into all the touristy stuff.Fabrizio is always responsive with any needs or questions. We hosted visiting couples on 4-5 occasions and it worked out fine!Shower offers warm water as long as you don't stay in there too long (that's a suble dig at my wife). The San Pietrino restaurant down the street is a nice family owned place with good food and the owner is very nice and accomodating.
It's not the first time I spent a week by Rita Bassano's flat. Near San Pietro, subway and main bus lines. Great restaurants and trattorias in the immediate vicinity (Antica vineria cinoleria bears a special mention, as Trattoria da Zacca). Supermarket next door. Great view from the balcony and quiet neighborhood. What else
This apartment was perfect for our stay. Within walking distance of the Vatican and easy bus access to city center. There are several good neighborhood restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The property managers are flexible and terrific! We were allowed to check in early which was very helpful. They were also very responsive when we needed them during our stay. The property was as described. We enjoyed eating meals on the terrace! We would very much return to this property on our next visit to Rome.
We enjoyed our 15 day stay in this apartment. The location was perfect since we had activities around the Vatican to attend. Walking thru “the tunnel” under the Janiculum was a convenient shortcut to Trastevere and to locations on the east side of the Tiber. The elevator is small, but it accommodated the two of us. We never had to wait for long. The close proximity to the grocery was terrific. There were lots of sit-down restaurants and also quick pick places, including beer and wine just a block away. The windows are supercool the way they can open partially or fully. The beds say queen size, but they are wider than what we call queens in the U.S. we enjoyed our stay!
We had the best time at Rita's wonderful apartment! It was a 5 minute walk to St. Peter's square and we often wandered down there in the evening to enjoy the beauty and lights. The apartment is in a great neighbourhood, not far from the sites but didn't feel touristy. Our favourite Gelato and Pizza places were a block or two away and a great grocery store was a 3 minute walk. Also, the number 64 bus was right outside the door (to go right downtown) and the train station was a 5 minute walk, both super convenient to go to further destinations. The apartment itself was great; lots of space, clean and cool during the hot days! Rita was a fabulous host and checked in with us regularly and was so helpful. Next time I come to Rome I would love to stay here again! Thank you Rita!
There were bugs and toenails in the bed, a cloud of gnats on the porch, a discolored hair-filled tub, mold covering the walls, stained pillows, broken furniture, and greasy surfaces. All linens show advanced signs of wear and age. Any surface you try to sit on warrants fear of collapse. Rita has an unauthorized "collaborator" named Fabrizio who coordinates your arrival and apparently services this apartment. Anytime you try to contact Rita, he would respond instead via WhatsApp. He is not verified through VRBO on this property.Rita, the host, persistently contacted us outside of the VRBO app when we shared our concerns. She's resorted to harassment via name-calling, wild accusations, and intimidation from multiple numbers. We were supposed to stay in Rome at this property for 5 nights and could only stomach one after waking up itchy on a spring protruding bed. Rita refuses to give us a refund despite us leaving. There are so many clean, thoughtful places you can stay in Rome for the same price or less. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!
