Scala Top Apartment in Trastevere

  • Romantic, quiet, and full of personality, this apartment is located in the heart of Trastevere and can comfortably accommodate up to 3 guests. It is situated on the 4th floor of a nineteenth-century building and features a very small elevator — a rare convenience for an 1800s palazzo in Trastevere. Please note that the elevator cannot hold large or multiple suitcases and should be used with caution.

The apartment offers a romantic bedroom, a cozy living room with a window overlooking the rooftops of Trastevere, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. The finely finished interiors include wooden ceilings and stone floors. Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi are available.

    Late check-in fee after 8:00 PM€ 25

    Late check-in fee after 11:00 PM € 40

Damage deposit amount may vary for reservations starting from 14 nights.

Tourist tax € 6,00 per person per night for a maximum of 10 days (children less than 10 years are exempt).

During holiday periods (Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and August 15th – Ferragosto), check-in times may vary.

Très beau logis... très propre et bien décoré, mais surtout très bien situé au coeur de Trastevere et à distance de marche de tous les grands sites à visiter à Rome.Je recommande vivement...

This is this apartment is in an excellent location of Trastevere. The apartment was surprisingly quiet for the area that it is in. I appreciated the air-conditioning. The check-in process was seamless. Loved the area.

It’s really a one bedroom plus a non fold out couch in the living room. Kitchen is small but good enough for breakfast. Good AC. Good location. Shower is tight fit.

Washer was broken and no one responded when we wrote. It’s confusing who to write to. The bed is very small, smaller than the photo allows.. it only had two terrible pillows so We requested pillows and again no one responded so we bought our own. Very quiet for being right in the middle of everything. Good kitchen and cute space.

Great things about this place: Location. Fabulous location in Trastevere. Quiet. Quiet in Trastevere is hard to find, and this place is very quiet. The managers were great and communication excellent. It is on a high floor and there IS an elevator which is great with your luggage. Lots of places don't have an elevator. Now, for the not so great things. The photos make this place look much bigger than it is. It is TINY. The bathroom is very tight and dark. Shower is miniscule. Weird strings hanging down in front of bathroom entrance to make it look boho. It is just inconvenient. This is an OK place for one or two, but what they claim as a second bedroom isn't; it's the living room. And, unless we didn't know what we were doing, the maids made the sofa into a bed. It was hardly a twin, not even that. They basically put sheets over the sofa. My friend couldn't sleep at all. There are windows, but the views shown on the website make it look like you can hang out and look out the window. You can't. They are tiny. Let's just say a wide-angle lens was used artfully. And the window by the bathroom is decorated with black mold. Ick.For two older ladies travelling this wasn't acceptable. We didn't stay both nights. Turned around and checked in to a hotel. Again, I would recommend it if there is one or a couple who share a bed. But don't be expecting a lot.
