"The cabin is adorable and was perfect for me and my daughters who were attending WE FEST. It’s super close to the venue and was a perfect comfortable place to crash after a long day of music! Kyler is the perfect host. He is super responsive and even took us on a trail ride around the property…..super fun! The alpacas and horses were amazing and a beautiful addition to wake up to each morning! Thank you Kyler….we had a beautiful weekend!"

"This was a case of right place, right time. I was tired of paying the high prices in the Fargo Morehead area for the downtown hotels or paying for the "generic experience" on the highways, but knew I would need to stop soon after. This was the first decently rated small town "real inn." It did not disappoint. The room was a good size, clean, with a full size refrigerator and a microwave. The water was hot and the pressure was good. And there's a fine bar/grill right next door. Keep in mind there is nothing else in the town in terms of services, but there is a cafe at the gas station that has breakfast. All good by me! And who knew I would be learning about the Prairie Chicken by visiting the town! a fun diversion for the next day."

"The cabin was perfect for what we were hoping for, enough space for our group of 7 adults and 2 toddlers to spread out. It has central air which was also appreciated for the 95 weekend that we were there!"

"We had the best time ever. The location can't be beat! The neighbors, the Johnson's, are the BEST! We stayed on the hottest week ever and the central air was AMAZING! The open floor concept allows you to see the LAKE from the kitchen straight through the living room! The deck was our favorite spot to be with all of the huge shade trees . The back yard was a huge bonus for us to park plenty of cars and our boat trailer. The fishing was great! The farmer's market was fun with lots of fun treats to buy within walking distance. Our favorite restaurant was Lakeside Tavern. Again, we walked there. Delicious food, the French fries can't be beat, and the chicken and wild rice soup is THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I have always enjoyed the Detroit Lakes area! We are definitely coming back and look forward to staying here again!"
