"The staff were amazing, the complimentary breakfast was great to get our day started without delay, having laundry available definitely helped us the day prior to our departure, and the area around the hotel has a lot to explore as well being 10 minutes away from a trains station that even connects to Narita Airport. "We stayed at OMO6 Otsuka as a family of five, booking two rooms. Previously, we had a great experience at OMO5 Osaka, which is why we chose this hotel for our Tokyo trip. Overall, we had a good stay. The rooms are fairly sized by Tokyo standards, very clean, and well-equipped with all the basic necessities. We especially appreciated the coin laundry on-site, although there are only two machines, so it can get busy—going early in the morning or mid-day is a better strategy. The location is a big highlight. Being right on the Yamanote Line made it very convenient to get around Tokyo. The surrounding area is lively but not too crowded, with plenty of reasonably priced restaurants, supermarkets, and department store food basements (great for takeout since the hotel provides microwaves). It felt like a more local and relaxed neighborhood compared to major tourist hubs. A couple of downsides: the beds were quite firm, which may not suit everyone, and there is no public bath or onsen on-site. The nearest one recommended by the hotel is about a 12-minute walk away, which wasn’t as convenient as we had hoped. Overall, a solid and practical choice for families looking for good value and excellent transit access in Tokyo."

"I stay at the hotels for 3 nights. I had previously on this trip stayed 3 nights in another area of Tokyo and 2 nights in Kyoto. The room was okay, but a little run down. The bathroom had wall-to-wall carpets, which I don't love since it usually contains a lot of dust. The bathroom felt a bit like one in a caravan. The floor was higher than the bedroom, so I had to take step up to get into the bathroom. There was also some mould on the bathroom door, which wasn't great. The staff were polite, but I didn't interact with them a lot. I did go to the gym, which was in a good condition, with the basic equipment you'll need for a workout. The area was nice, not far from public transport and within walking distance to Ueno park. Overall I don't think I'd stay here again. I would rather pay a bit more for a cleaner and newer room. "
