Riomaggiore - Cinque Terre - House with terrace on the marina

Enchanting fisherman's house overlooking the port of Riomaggiore, recently renovated with great care in the choice of materials and finishes, located a few steps from the beach and easily accessible from the train station.



The house is on three levels and overlooks the exclusive ancient village of the "Marina". It has an independent access and the interiors preserve the typical structure of the ancient houses of the Cinque Terre. A carefully chosen furniture is accompanied by a complete set-up of every comfort and equipment. On the second level the kitchen has: fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, electric oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The living room has a sofa bed and access to the terrace which offers a splendid panorama to enjoy during pleasant breakfasts, lunches or dinners outdoors. On the third level, the sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a hallway with a single bed. On the first level, a large bathroom with exposed stone with a spacious shower and a charming stone arched room with a wardrobe available to guests.



Our friend Roberto will take care of the reception and assistance. It is available for those who request it in advance the baggage transport service from the train station, from the parking lot or from the berth of boats at a cost of five euros per baggage to be paid on site during the check-in.

Our stay at Sara’s place in Cinque Terre was incredible. She welcomed us warmly and even made us a dinner reservation for our first night. The home was full of charm and in a perfect location to explore the area. This was easily our favorite stay of the trip. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Charming Location on the Marina

Great location next to the marina and the heart of the town. The host left us snacks and drinks upon arrival, which was appreciated. The patio was amazing - we spent a lot of time there talking with drinks - morning and evening. Communication was great. We would definitely recommend if you're staying in Riomaggiore.

Terrace beauty.

The town was essential Cinque Terre and Sara's apartment was nicely detailed. Large modern bathroom. Great personal deck. Kitchen has everything we needed. We chose a bad time to stay due to Spring break. We left waterfront to get away from tours and parties. it was quiet and gorgeuos views from just out of town. nice to come home to Sara's apartment

Beautiful!

Sara's place was absolutely beautiful. Riomaggiore is as lovely in person as it is in the pictures. Sara's place was clean and comfortable and she was very responsive to messages and made us feel very welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at her place again.

Beautiful location and nice interior. Lots of stairs, bathroom on the bottom floor and bedroom on the top. Very clean and bright. Host is kind and helpful. Wonderful totem and nice to stay after the tourist leave.

We stayed here for four nights in September and absolutely loved it! Big, modern, well-decorated, large balcony with a great view of the harbour and water. Air-conditioning kept the whole place nice and cool. The photos in the listing do not do this place justice! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location in Riomaggiore

Highly recommend this accomodation in beautiful Riomaggiore. Located just off the marina & close to the beach this is one of the easier accessed accomodation from the train. Great for family or friends. Host was fabulous, tastefully decorated & appointed - left us wanting for nothing. Highly recommend .

A true gem in Riomaggiore

The Ossi di Seppia apartment was the perfect conduit for a great experience in Cinque Terre! Strategically located on the picturesque fishermen's harbour, this impeccably designed, maintained and managed property gave us all the necessary comfort and made us feel as part of the locals. The extra assistance with parking, luggage transport, and restaurant reservations were an exceptional added value. could not expect anything better!

Great property with a view

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to with minimal stairs from the train station. It was really nice having the patio with a view of the sea. The place has a wonderful aesthetic that really suits the property. There are tight stairs up to the bedroom level so we opted to leave our luggage in the front room. Wasn't an issue for us. The washroom is also down stairs. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night there are quite a few steps (2 lvls). The trade off is it is a very large bathroom/shower which was nice to have.

Beautiful Property

This is a great place to call home during your stay in the Cinque Terre. We found Riomaggiore (and Vernazza) to be the best places to call home in terms of size and comfort. Our host had a bottle of wine waiting and had booked us amazing dinner reservations at the hard to get Rio Bistrot. It was a little hard to get a time to meet Roberto to get in the place- we could not call him for some reason- the phone was not working but through the host we got it worked out. Make sure you set that up specifically with him in advance of arriving.

Highlight of our trip to Italy was this gem of an apartment. Recently renovated, stylishly decorated, balcony with view of the water and town. Sara, our host went way out of her way with all the extras with a video to find our way from the train station, dinner reservations nearby the first night, homemade wine and snacks to enjoy, wow!! Riomaggiore is the most beautiful and accessible of the 5 cities and is full of super nice people, great restaurants, shopping and beautiful hikes. We will surely return and highly recommend this location!! My only caution is for those with mobility needs - there’s a lot of steep stairs inside the apartment and outside all over Riomaggiore and all five Cinque Terre cities. I could not have taken my mother for example, though the elderly ladies who live here surely are in amazing shape.

The perfect place in Riomaggiore

Communicating with Sara from the start was great. Our train was late but she had someone there to greet us and go over her home within minutes. The space is gorgeous. Lots of windows to the let the fresh Mediterranean Sea air in with a patio which easily seats the 4 of us for drinks and card games. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need if you wanted to stay in and cook. We discovered some amazing restaurants within 5 minutes walk . If you have difficulty with stairs, you may have some challenges but I think that goes for anywhere in Cinque Terre. This place will be the top of our list next time we go to Italy. Thank you for everything Sara!

Amazing! Best property and location ever!

Wow! This home is beautiful! The attention to detail and decor is beyond words. The pics are great, but don’t do it full justice. It’s modern and upgraded while also very warm and cozy. Sara thought of everything! She made our stay in beautiful Riomaggiore even more special (who could have thought!) with her thoughtful touches throughout, even providing a yummy welcome basket and delicious wine from her family’s vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio with an incredible view and felt right at home in her lovely and authentic space. Yes, there are stairs, but it’s Cinque Terre, so that’s to be expected! Could not have asked for more! Thank you!!

Lovely home

Sara’s home is perfect! She goes above and beyond with the amenities and little touches. Location is so perfect in Riomaggiore, it was the perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre. The pictures do not do this place justice, we stayed at three different locations throughout Italy and this one is our favorite. The home is not too far from the tunnel coming from the train so you don’t have to walk up too many stairs/hills to get there which is nice after a long day traveling/exploring. We were traveling with our two sons and we each had our own space (we were in main bedroom, one son in the loft area outside of our bedroom, and one son slept in the main living area on the pullout couch). It worked out very well for us. Sara was very helpful with communicating with us the day of our arrival and navigating the difficulties I was having calling internationally. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking!

Charming Chic

Sara’s home is perfect. It is elegant, and chic and cozy. Well equipped with tasteful housewares and appliances. I am a designer, and will forever dream about those ocean waves tiles in the living room/dining room, that lead you out to the balcony that looks out to the sea. Sara had wine (from her family’s vineyard), and snacks waiting for us. Roberto (the Sherpa of Riomaggiore) met us at the train, handled all of our bags and showed around the house. He was amazing. The house is easy to get to, but for the trip in, I highly recommend the very small fee to have Roberto handle your bags. There is some climbing up and down from the train. When you leave, it much easier to get to the train. I went with two girlfriends (we grew up together), and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. #magical
