Double Room "Dora" - La Scogliera

Charming double room with an amazing sea view, located right on the cliff of Riomaggiore, one of Cinque Terre villages. It is a few minutes walk from the train station, town centre, restaurants and other activities. It is composed of a double bed, private bathroom, dining/working table. Equipped with air conditioning, tv, wi-fi and coffee/tea machine with capsules. The room has two windows which offer a unique view of the harbour and the Ligurian Sea. Ideal for couples.

This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people, therefore we do not accept reservations for a larger number of guests (babies included).

Tourist tax (€3 per person per night, for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights) included in the price.

Spectacular Views of the Sea

Davide couldn’t have been more helpful and even met us outside the train tunnel to help us with our bags at check in. The space is compact but the view to the sea is expansive and we enjoyed sipping glasses of wine at the table overlooking the waves crashing against the cliffs. And going to sleep to the sound of the sea lulled us to sleep.

Perfect Location

This was our first stay in Riomaggiore and we feel very fortunate to have chosen this apartment for our 4 night stay. I'm not sure there's another place in town with such amazing views that's so easily accessible. In a town with LOTS of stairs, you climb comparatively few to get to the apartment. Agostino and David are extremely helpful and responsive. Their passion for their beautiful home is so welcoming and infectious. The apartment offers plenty of clutter free space and amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C works perfectly. We would stay here again without question.

As unique as it gets!

The Cinque Terre area is not like any place we have ever been and our stay at Double Room Dora was the icing on the cake. Nested in the heart of Riomaggiore with a view of the sea, it was an absolute delight. The climb and steps were not for the unfit but worth it!

Amazing location! Cons: Bed was super uncomfortable, sheets were like hospital sheets and the worst part was we woke up with tons of bug bites - flipped the mattress to notice bed bugs. Coffee maker never worked, and couldn’t get good sleep due to people cliff jumping. Stayed 3 days and could have really appreciated more than one towel. Great for a young traveler looking to save money but not ideal for a honeymoon.
