"The property is dated but was clean and the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic as they are renovating their dining area and had a makeshift table within check in area at the hotel. Overall a decent stay for 1 night."

"This motel was a hidden gem. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The only small complaint would be the fans in the rooms appear to be on the same remote control, so when one room turned their fan on, ours came on too, and visa versa. If they would install a master off switch this would solve this issue, but since it was such a small inconvenience, I didn’t want it to impact my overall rating."

"Dear Hardman house and Expedia, I recently booked a room at the Hardman house through Expedia. Upon check-in, we discovered the air conditioner in our room was not working. The staff was unable to fix the issue and made no attempt to resolve it or offer us an alternative room. As a result, we checked out immediately and found accommodations elsewhere. The front desk informed us that their policy is no refunds. What is particularly frustrating is that when I booked the room just a few days prior, Expedia did not disclose that the property had a non-functional air conditioner. Had I known this, I would not have made the reservation. I am extremely disappointed with both the Hartman Inn and with Expedia’s lack of transparency. Because of this experience, I will be switching to a different booking platform going forward. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter, including a full refund. Thank you, Ken"

"This hotel use to be part of a much larger property. More than half of the property is under construction and not for use by guests. It's a bummer, this used to be a really nice place for a vacation, now it's just another hotel...a nice one, but not like t was."
