We had a wonderful 10 night stay at Quinta dos Bravos. The property amidst the gardens is so beautiful, with great care taken for every detail. The rooms are spotless. The breakfasts are nice with homemade cakes. On our last night, we had the loveliest dinner onsite made by Irena, which was a highlight. Paulo, Irena and their staff were attentive, kind and gracious. We look forward to returning and highly recommend staying here!

This is a lovely property. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and welcoming.Our room was spacious and it was super clean . The breakfast that is served is inside a beautifully decorated main house. again, everything is spotless. The breakfast was eggs, breads, cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruits . Ther is a charming porch to sit out on as you have breakfast with a beautiful view all the way over to the ocean.Unfortuately, the weather did not cooperate for use of the pool. Would highly recommend a stay.

Vi är SÅ nöjda med vår vistelse på Quinta dos Bravos. Jätte fräscht och fint boende, bra service och trevlig personal. Värdarna Paulo och Irene brinner verkligen för boendet och har tänkt på alla detaljer och har varit jättebra och hjälpsamma med att ge oss tips på bra platser att besöka osv. Vi är extremt nöjda med vår vistelse och har varma rekommendationer! Tack Paulo och Irene för att ni gjorde vår vistelse så bra! ☺️

Séjour parfait !
Notre séjour c'est très passé à Quinta dos Bravos. Irena et Paulo ainsi que le personnel sont des gens charmants. Attentifs au bien être des résidents, à l'écoute et toujours de bons conseils. L'établissement est très agréable, convivial,propre et la décoration de bon goût. Rien à redire sur le petit déjeuner qui est copieux et diversifié. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. L'emplacement est parfait et très calme et permet de visiter l'île simplement. Si nous retournons à Sao Miguel, il est certain que nous y logerons à nouveau !

Insgesamt schöner Aufenthalt
Wir hatten einen insgesamt schönen Aufenthalt. Allerdings ist der Pool nicht so groß, wie er auf den Fotos erscheint. Außerdem ist es ziemlich hellhörig, für Ruhe suchende also nicht so gut geeignet. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich.

Arnaque à l arrivée
Attention Arnaque à l arrivée, lors de ma réservation 4 mois plus tôt j avais contacter l hôte de notre venue à 21h, arrivée de l avion 20h 15. Il avait répondu en précisant qu il n y avait aucun problème. L hôte nous a facturé 90 euros pour arrivée tardive !!! J ai exprimé mon mécontentement et étonnement, j attend toujours la réponse de notre hôte, d ailleurs nous ne l avons pas vu du séjour ni au départ. Quel manque d accueil de changer les règles une fois sur place. La maison est très belle et très propre, le petit déjeuner correct mais sans surprise.

Dear Valerie... glad youve arrived safe and all is OK with you. I feel sad and surprised about your words, as Im sure you get a fantastic treatment for all our staff here. Our policy for late arrival is the same since ever and for everybody with no exception. Please note that we ALWAYS apply a 90 euro fee for late check-in (if it’s any comfort for you, same places here charge much more, some others even close after 20:00 and request you to check-in the next day). We were here for you and we even provide you with a late dinner as per your request (I remember you mention Royalty treatment on that same night). Also, during your stay I did not hear any comment about anything wrong … except when you were about to leave (but unfortunate I was not there to answer you in person). Anyway, I can understand your frustration (I also hate to charge ‘late night check-in’ because it means it will be another long day for us too) but probably something must have been ‘lost in translation’. I trust your stay here 'price/quality' was still great (even after the late arrival fee). I certainly do not want you (or anybody) to get disappointed with us here (as you have witness, everybody here works hard for that). Thank youBest Regards

Vše bylo naprosto skvělé! Dům je neuvěřitelně útulný (cítíte se jako doma, pomalu až lépe než doma), pokoje jsou krásné a čisté. Měli jsme pokoj s velkou manželskou postelí, která byla velmi pohodlná a vždy jsme si v ní dobře odpočali. Paul (hostitel) je neuvěřitelně milý a přátelský. S čímkoliv poradí či pomůže a rád si popovídá. Třešničkou na dortu jsou výborné snídaně, které se často obměňují a nabízí lokální produkty. Vřele doporučujeme!

Wonderful stay, nice spacious room and bathroom, all is kept well clean. The host and staff are very friendly, welcoming, helpful and always in for a chat. Breakfast is very well taken care of and it’s also the time and place for guests to comes together and share experiences and tips, if you like to. For me, as a female solo traveler, it felt like a warm and safe place. Please note that there are no restaurants nearby so a car is necessary. The location is quiet and surrounded by a lovely garden, where you can hear the birds sing. I definately recommend staying here, I couldn't imagine a better place to stay on the island!

This is an amazing property with a hospitable owner/operator and his staff from beginning to end. The property is very well taken care of and feels like home. It has a pool. There are many custom touches. Kitchen/dining area looks out to the ocean. Our bedroom was comfortable with a great large mattress and pillows. Bathroom was nice. We also had a lovely balcony. Breakfast was served with love and care by Ofelia. Paolo is a great host who provided valuable guidance. Highly recommend this B&B that is centrally located on the island.

Sehr stilvolle, gepflegte Unterkunft mit gigantisch großen, bequemen Betten. Gastgeber Rui kümmert sich liebevoll um alle Wünsche der Gäste und gibt jeden Morgen beim wunderbar bereiteten Frühstück mit viel frischem Obst (eigene Bananen!), selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Marmeladen nach einem Blick aus dem Fenster (Wolken? Nebel? Sonne?) die besten Ausflugs - Tipps für den Tag. Da er so ein sympathischer und gewitzter Gesprächspartner ist, mag man sich manchmal gar nicht losreißen....

Amazing place, we will go back! Perfect stay at Quinta dos Bravos. Rui is the best host we ever had, always smiling and always helpful with tons of good tips for visiting the island. He also speaks many languages (we heard excellent English, Spanish, Italian and French, not sure how many more he masters 😀). Amazing bedding, 2 meter large bed with super comfortable mattress. Daily and impeccable cleaning !! Beautiful garden with swimming pool. Delicious buffet breakfast with homemade pastries. And to not spoil anything, wifi works very well 😊. Thank you Rui for this wonderful stay !

My Quinta does Bravos stay
The staff at the hotel were excellent, very informative and willing to help me with any queries I had, my only negative feedback is that the location is a little out of the way from any restaurants or bars, the nearest restaurant is around 2 miles away and bar a mile away, would highly recommend hiring a car, it's around 15 euros by taxi to get to Ponta Delgada which seems to be where the nightlife is, much cheaper by bus which is around 1 kilometre from the hotel. The facilities were excellent as were the rooms, if you plan on self catering then there is everything you need and a Spar supermarket around 10 mins walk down the road, I highly recommend.

It is true that we are not located in a street of bars and restaurants. Therefore, I ask everyone, before booking, to check the distances of the restaurants. Within a radius of 8 km there are the best restaurants for fresh fish (2 km Botequim) and meat (7 km Associação Agricola), as well as supermarkets, snack bar and free homemade pizza delivery service. In addition, Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande, the two main cities of the island at 12km. If you consider it not enough close, we appreciate it, but Quinta dos Bravos is not the ideal place for your holidays. Please, allways rent a car! There is no shuttle service on the island. No matter where you stay you always need a car. If you choose Ponta Delgada save a extra cost of parks

Une adresse comme on les aime: accueil chaleureux, deco superbe, petit déjeuner extra, literie de très grand confort. On aimerait y rester plus longtemps. L’emplacement est très bon, surtout si on recherche la tranquillité sans être loin des lieux à voir. Notre hôte a été de très bons conseils pour les visites ou les restaurants. Bref, nous recommandons cette adresse sans réserve.

Superbe quinta !
La quinta est un lieu charmant, au milieu d’un jardin magnifique réunissant tous les types de fleurs et plante de l’ile, Rui notre hôte est très sympathique et très accueillant. Il parle le français et connaît parfaitement son île, ainsi il nous a quotidiennement conseillé sur les sites où aller en fonction du temps très changeant aux Acores ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Dépaysement assuré.
