Très agréable hotel, excentré en ville nouvelle de 1 km de la première porte de la vieille ville de Rhodes. Le patron est toujours souriant et avenant. Le ménage est fait tous les jours avec assiduité. L'excentration du lieu permet de vivre plus près de la population autochtone,(un petit restaurant de viande grillé excellent se trouve à 2 rues) et loin de la foule touristique du centre.. Avoir une mini-cuisine intégrée est un plus pour manger chaud ou froid sur le balcon.

We stayed here for 1 week in September. The overall experience was excellent. Our flight was delayed going and there was a delay in baggage reclaim, the owner was waiting for us when we eventually arrived at 1:30am. The room was clean comfortable and had everything needed . Air con worked well and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The owner was excellent all through our stay helping with any questions booking taxis etc. If we ever return to Rhodes would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel

Astonishing and most comfortable lodging - ever!

Best equipped and laid out accommodation we’ve ever had - and at a fantastic price. Antonis was so helpful to us and gave us everything we needed to enjoy and maximize our stay. When we return ( and we willl! ) we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere other than the Philoxenia.

Wonderful owner! Made us very welcome and answered all questions. Even sorted a moped and got us a great deal on it. The hotel was in the new town part of Rhodes Town and about a 15-20min walk to the beautiful walled Old Town and coast (5mins on bike). The room was like a small studio with kitchen, balcony and shower room. Everything clean, working and comfortable but maybe lacking some character. However, great value and ideal to explore the island. Would stay again!

hotel in periferia ma comunque in posizione strategica per visitare Rodi, proprietario molto gentile e disponibile, camere comode, pulizia migliorabile. Meglio evitare la colazione servita al tavolo: molto lenti e poco varia.

Génial

D'abord il y a Antonis et son sourire chaleureux. Attentif, attentionné prêt à prodiguer des conseils très précieux documents à l'appui. Ensuite le rapport qualité prix (petit hôtel restauré chambres impeccables). Les arrêts de bus (pour le centre et pour le reste de l'île) sont proches. Très pratique pour entrer/sortir de la ville quand on a loué une voiture. Nous avons été enchantés par nos deux séjours.

Alejado del centro pero buena atención y limpieza

El hotel se encuentra alejado del centro, pero los taxis eran cinco euros aprox. También hay una parada de autobús cercana. La habitación estaba limpia, con una pequeña cocina y nevera. También una terracita. Muy cómoda. No hay ascensor. La atención fue muy buena. El wifi funcionaba bien.

Great service

The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from the Old Town, so do not be fooled that it is close to the new or old town. However, it is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that really gives you the feel of Rhodes, and is either a 5 euro cab ride into town or there is a bus.The owner was extremely helpful with activities and getting around-- organized a private tour guide for us!!

A good value hotel

Very friendly and helpful people. The hotel was very clean and the included breakfast very good. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.
