"So understaffed we had to wait until 5pm to be given a room and were late for our dinner reservations. There was one young woman working the front desk. She was lovely but incapable of managing the crowd of people who occupied the lobby because housekeeping wasn’t ready with the rooms. She should not have been alone at the front desk on a busy Saturday. 4:00pm is already a late check-in time; 5pm is ridiculous. The room was clean but small and spartan, like a dorm room. There was absolutely nothing “boutique” about this place. We were very disappointed."

"Excellent stay all around. Cozy, spacious and charming. Comfortably fit 5 adults and 1 teen, allowing everyone space and privacy. Convenient location to Pitt campus. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in that wasn’t my own. Very fast response from host who went above and beyond to meet an unexpected need. 10/10 would recommend! Both the host and property deserve more than a 5 star rating!"
