"The host was very easy to communicate with. She greeted us when we arrived. She was great. The house is very beautiful inside and out, the view was amazing. It is very clean inside. The only issue is the way to the house is very difficult to get to. We drove up on a hill that had a lot of bumpy roads and a lot of garbage. Keep in mind if you stay here that once you go out, try to do all of your outings because it’s hard to go back and forth to the house."

"I think this hotel was pretty good with pros and cons. I would stay away from the Family side beach with the people selling souvenirs over there as it is very weird as well as the staff is 50-50 with rude and nice people. The room was very clean as well as the property was clean There was a lot of bug bugs, but they were all dead never did I see one alive. I saw a lot dead though lol so they’re doing something right I guess I would honestly recommend this if you’re going for more of a chill vibe. The food was extremely good honestly the Indian restaurant specifically"

"Great time but know before you go... Family of 4 (kids 20 and 15) went for a week. The food was good with wide selection, resort was quiet at night and no noise between rooms. There was no problem getting chairs during day at beach or pool (not a lot of pool shade). The resort was very walk-able to restaurants, etc. They had synchronized swimmers/dancers on Sunday afternoon at the main pool which was super cool. The staff was hit or miss, either they were the best or they seemed to loathe their jobs. The pool bars were routinely great but we were yelled at one day for wanting fresh beach towels after turning sandy towels in to go to lunch. Check in was a nightmare. We arrived early and had no expectation that our room would be ready but we stood in line at least an hour. After we checked in, and while we waited for our room we were approached by the sales people trying to give us a welcome breakfast the next day and a sales talk. They say that you get "two free massages at the spa." You will have to say no multiple times, and I am glad I did! Friends we met down there did it, and told us the "two free massages" are actually hydro-massages in a hot tub at the spa. Buy water shoes before you go. We got ours at Walmart for about $6/pair. You will need for Dunn's River and Blue Hole. Dunn's is a must. Blue Hole is great use the life jacket! Google blue hole death. Luminous Lagoon was okay but I'd do a taxi next time instead of a tour. Cheaper and less time."

"My stay at the Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The entertainment was one of the highlights of our trip. There was always something fun to do, and the entertainment team kept the energy high throughout the day and night. The food was also very good, with plenty of delicious options and something for everyone to enjoy. A special thank you goes to our concierge, Tishauna. She went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was perfect. She was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and always available whenever we needed assistance. Her outstanding customer service truly made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with great food, excellent entertainment, and exceptional hospitality. I can’t wait to come back!"

"Housekeeping was amazing and the room was beautiful. The mini bar was not refreshed daily and the drinks were disappointing. Bring in Jamaica I expected the bar to know how to make rum punch. In general everything was great except the drinks the bartenders should be trained again"

"Like so many have said, the staff is a big plus as well as the food. The pool was nice as well as the beach view. The only negative for me is that the bathroom in my room showed its age. There was no outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer. When I used the hairdryer in the sitting area it blew a fuse. The power went out on the dryer as well as the TV. My husband was able to restore power quickly from the fuse box inside the room. The restaurants and the common areas have been updated since my visit seven years ago, but the rooms need to be updated as well."

"This resort serves as a training facility for students in the hospitality industry and what a fantastic job! The staff was amazing, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable. A hearty Jamaican cuisine is served for breakfast. The pastries are fantastic! Not overly sweet and extremely tasty. The pool is clean and well maintained. However, the rooms are a bit dated and there is no entertainment. If you expect a high-end international experience this may not be your best option, but if you’re interested in experiencing an authentic Jamaican interaction, consider visiting. It’s always heartwarming to know that I am able to contribute to the advancement of the Jamaican community and get such a positive experience in return. A win win situation! In general, it was a good experience and I intend to return."
