I had a great stay at THE GATE Hotel in Kyoto! The property is modern, clean, and well-maintained. One of the highlights is definitely the top floor, where the reception and bar are located—it offers a stunning panoramic view of the city, especially at sunset. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to several local attractions, which made it easy to explore Kyoto. Overall, a comfortable and stylish place to stay. I’d definitely come back!

Staying at this hotel was definitely a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable—right across from Kyoto Station, but as soon as you step inside, it's like entering another world.
