We really liked the condo, and it was exactly as advertised. The only cleanliness issue was the shower curtain liner needs to be BLEACHED or replaced, it was black on the bottom edge. Eww.
We were told to check in not before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. We checked in, and as soon as we unpacked a bit, we wanted to swim. There was no pool pass. We then realized that they close their offices at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays, and Monday was Labor Day, and there was no non emergency way to contact the office before Tuesday. They do not regard the lack of a pool pass as an emergency.
I left voice mail. I tried to get help on the emergency line, which was no help at all. and I sent e-mail.
I have rented vacation properties from VRBO and other services for years, and I have never been unable to reach property management for 2 entire days of my stay until this stay. And ReMAX couldn't wrap their head around the idea that it's their job to be reachable. I don't care that it's a holiday, because guess what? Staying at their condo is MY HOLIDAY!
This was eventually not a big deal, and was easy to fix, but I found their unreachability and unwillingness to acknowledge that closing their office the second we checked in might be a bad way to do things.
So the property is nice, we enjoyed our stay, but ReMAX didn't impress us.
