"Our stay at Casa Cook El Gouna was truly unforgettable. Casa Cook is absolutely stunning — from the beautifully designed rooms to the breathtaking sea view you wake up to every morning, it’s honestly one of the best feelings ever. Waking up to that view alone is worth the trip. From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality and attention to detail was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant atmosphere is just incredible — the vibe, the setting, and the overall experience made every meal something to look forward to. A very special thank you to Chef Omar, Michael, Eid, Fatma and the entire kitchen team — the care, love, and passion you put into everything was felt in every meal. You made dining such a memorable part of our experience. Huge thanks as well to Zidane, who hosted us so warmly from day one and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Abdou, thank you for your kindness and support, it did not go unnoticed. And of course, a big appreciation to Haleem, Emam, Mahmoud and Mohamed and the whole pool team for creating such a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere every day. "Great place to relax for a few days. Extensive buffet, lots of selection at every meal. Nice to walk along beach. Can't swim from beach, too shallow, but there is a long dock with access to deep water. Only negative was front desk -- checking out and getting taxi can be challenging. "

"We had a pleasant experience at Prima life during our family trip. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a spacious rooms, large pools for both kids and adults, and a beautiful layout with plenty of greenery to walk around . Really eye catching. The main restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty food, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay and I hope they will keep same level service all the time There are a few areas where improvements could make the experience even better: 1. The à la carte service could be improved in terms of quality and time organisation. 2. Adding upgraded water slides or an aqua park near the beach would be a fantastic enhancement, especially given the great sea view and available space and guest will pay extra for it without a doubt. 3. If possible removing the stones at the sea entrance would make it much safer, particularly for children. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, especially if the pricing remains reasonable. With a few improvements, it could easily become an outstanding destination. "Clean room"

"Rooms/suites require upgrading. Bedding is worn out with holes! Our sheet was changed once only at our request! Large balcony, although generous was not swept or washed in the 2 weeks we were there. Communal areas are well maintained, however toilet facilities need upgrading and more frequently cleaned. Staff were always polite and helpful. Large general restaurants also require upgrading, however the à la carte restaurants were very good and offered something for every palate. "

"Al Kasr was a major disappointment. I have stayed at a number of 5 start hotels, as well as in Egypt (previously Sharm El Sheikh) so feel I have a good gauge of a good hotel. From the very start there were red flags. All hotels I have stayed in up until now have offered welcoming drinks (even just a basic juice would be fine) and provided a tour of the hotel facilities so we know where the pool and dining is. This is the first hotel where check in was “here’s your key, on you go”. Again, if I paid the price of a 3 star hotel I’d be fine with this, but you pay a premium price and get mediocre service. Then, the layout of the resort seems odd. We were located in block 1000, which is far from any facilities. The dining and pools (as far as we could identify) were on the complete other side of the resort. If it was centrally located, all rooms could have equidistant access. When they told us we had been upgraded to a sea-view free of charge, I thought this was great. It was a rude awakening when I went to the balcony and looked out and saw we were getting a sea view from the back of the hotel, overlooking the entire hotel premises. At that point it seems disingenuous to promote it as a ‘sea-view’. Moving onto the room. I had high hopes as it’s supposed to be a ‘new’ hotel. The rooms looked like they’ve been in use for 20 years. Grouting lifting between the tiles, the bathroom sink tap ‘unbolted’ and moving as you use it. The balcony had nails sticking out which you could easil"

"Overall an excellent hotel with great facilities, beach, delicious food, clean comfortable rooms, beautiful setting and friendly courteous staff. Avoid busy snorkelling trips and especially any trips going to the Orange Island! Although the spa itself is relaxing the extra treatments are not worth the money and not great. The day trip to Luxor was the highlight- highly recommended "
