"Amazing place! Very clean, great location: center of Canneto, right across from the beach (crystal clear water), and 10 min drive to the center of Lipari. The proprietor, Nicola is a very kind and generous person. He helped us with great suggestions, reservations for restaurants and excursions. "The room was comfortable and the breakfast terrace was a great way to start the day. The location is great, a short 5 minute walk into the main port area. I do recommend taking them up on their transfer offer to the port, I booked my own cab and it was 3x the price. The only issues I ran into was that the WiFi wasn't strong enough to do much of anything...no streaming on the TV, no video calls, my cell service was faster. If you need reliable internet service, look elsewhere. The housekeepers...

"Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari."
