"The place sits nicely in the woods and has a very rural feel, but is close to main roads so one hears them. That's the only disadvantage, and for some it won't matter. The house has everything you need and a good vibe. They appreciate their 1970's architecture and work with it respectfully. There's every possible type of AC and fan combo, so comfort is ensured."

"My wife and I had a lovely time staying here. Great location, only a couple of miles away from Jacobs Pillow. The lakes are clean and great for paddle boarding. Check in and out was a breeze, Nicole was a pleasure to work with. Thanks for a nice get away."

"The property is about 15 minutes away from so much in the Berkshires. The house is set on a small, swimmable lake with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Very responsive hosts who stock the house with everything needed. We had an amazing family gathering of 6 people and were very comfortable in the space. Would highly recommend and may be back another year!"

"The setting for this house is gorgeous. It was wonderful to wake up and look out to the lake. The host was very communicative, and remarkably had a new coffee pot delivered within hours of our reporting it. We were surprised we had to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels, sink sponges, dishwashing soap during our stay as only the most minimum supply was there when we arrived. The furnishings were not as attractive as other rentals — but its charm grew on us. Go for the view, kayaks and firepit."

"The cabin was so well outfitted, it felt like we were staying in a real home and not just some sterile, 50% particle board and stock image type rental. We loved the privacy of being at the end of the road too. We saw a fox during our stay and had lots of sweet little moments, never too far from the comfort of the cabin. The host was incredibly responsive and kind. The local farmers market was very special. We really appreciated having a grill out back too and the fact that the kitchen was well stocked with spices! My friends and I will definitely be re-booking. We loved this place :)"
