We loved our stay here. It was literally a few blocks from the beach where they had water activities, beach side dining and more. Locals are very friendly and accommodating. You’re able to book excursions from locals right downstairs. Pick up for most excursions was in front of this property. The property is as seen on the pics but there are areas that are still under construction and the balcony pool is tiny. We thought it was a jacuzzi. Overall I would stay here again.

Place is clean and safe. There is no ocean view. It takes a 10-15 minute walk to the next public beach, which can be rather crowded. Several decent restaurants close by with prices a tad under US prices. The property management, especially Alberto are great. Punta Cana became somewhat of a tourist trap. If you want to see anything of the DR, you must get a rental car and drive. A mere 20 miles and you are in a different world.

The condo had plenty of space to accommodate my family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) in its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The property manager greeted us when we arrived to go over what we needed to know about the space, and was very responsive through WhatsApp during our stay whenever questions came up. We were provided with a 5-gallon jug of water necessary for drinking and cooking. The building has a 24-hour security guard outside the building, however the front gate didn't lock. Because we were so close to other rentals, resorts and bars, it did get rather loud some nights from the music being played. The swimming pool was large enough to enjoy a refreshing dip, while not feeling cramped. Our private outdoor space was nice as well. It was a 3-minute walk to the beach (although due to the Sargassum issue in the area we did not enjoy the ocean). We did however have access to a beach club with lounge chairs-Huracan. There was a convenience market about a block away for all of your essentials and snacks. We loved the culinary scene in the neighborhood, and had many memorable meals eating an amazing variety of food. Check out Wowzer Brunch & Restaurant, La Bruja, La Casita De Yeya, L’aceretta and Castaways Bistro. They are all within the neighborhood which was safe and friendly. I'm glad we took a chance and stayed here. It was far from perfect, but we felt part of the community, a nice alternative to the cookie cutter resorts.

Travelled to Beach Homes Punta Cana with 3 other girls and upon walking into the apartment we were pleasantly surprised how lovely it was! The apartment was nicer in person! The layout was very nice, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, plenty of space to hang out. It felt like our own little VIP booth. The 3 bedroom apartment with a dip pool was located on the second floor and set back from the road, making it really nice a quiet at night. Fans and AC made the space comfortable at night and during the day we loved having all the sliding doors fully open , opening up the apartment and patio as one big space. One of the doors had a locking issue which was immediately addressed and fixed by the building manager. This was one of the best places I have stayed while traveling to a hot country!

Newer property in perfect location just steps from the beach and restaurants. Building staff were super friendly and accommodating. It’s next to a resort so it’s a little noisy at times but that wasn’t the case for us since we enjoyed the music from our rooftop pacuzzi. The pool and yard was clean. There’s a gas grill at pool area and on our rooftop condo. Electric bill is added to your stay at the end but they show you your meter readings at beginning and end. Would highly recommend. Safe and friendly area for family

Cute couple getaway!

My husband and I stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment on the first level, pool right outside our patio. Quiet clean place mins from the beach, market and plenty of restaurants. Comes equipped with washer & dryer, cookware & dinnerware. I must say we could have used a coffee pot or tea kettle (the pot they had was no good). Nicely furnished, great air (mainly used @ bedtime). Electric is separate cost at end of stay, we were out most of the stay, so we didn't use much. Weather was great, it did rain at night which cause some flooding (not at the property) which brought a ton of mosquitos so bring some OFF. Daniel was quick to respond, although there wasn't much to contact him about. Oh, the shower drains a bit slow but considering all of the floods in the surrounding area I didn't complain. Overall, for the price I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd bring my family to stay in some of the larger units. Thank you, Daniel!

This was a newly built condo right in the center of town so you can easily walk to the beach and the small grocery store and restaurants. I felt safe here as there’s a guard tending to the entrance. I also felt safe walking around the town although I never went out after dark. They provide you with a little shampoo, conditioner, body wash, one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, and they don’t provide more than that so you’ll need to go to the store right down the road for more to, conditioner, and paper towels as they didn’t have any of those. I had a really hard time getting anyone to communicate with me after I booked the place which caused great anxiety. They send you an email the day before you fly out telling you how to get in, but there’s no guidebook or anything like that. You’ll want to sget whattsapp as that’s how you communicate with them once you’re checked in to the place. They get back to you but not always right away. The place was very nice and I’m glad we stayed there vs an all-inclusive, but they really need to do a better job communicating before you arrive so you feel more comfortable.

Nice but need to improve cleanliness

It was a good stay even though we had an issue with cleanliness of the apartment. The bathrooms were dirty (pee and pubic hair on the toilets), hair on the sheets and a dead bug on the rug in the master bedroom, broken cleaning supplies and no detergents or cleaning crew available to be able to sort it out. I ended up using disinfecting wipes I always bring with me to clean the bathrooms, and the washer/dryer to clean the sheets because they didn’t have anyone to come over and clean until the next day or extra sheets. The small pool on the balcony/terrace had way too much chlorine tablets, had to remove them myself so my kids could enjoy it. Must say that Alberto, the concierge, was very kind and tried to help, so that made our stay a bit easier. Overall it is a nice place to stay, they need to work on the cleaning service. Not a big fan of the area, but the beach is near and for our trip it was fine, we were there for a tournament match close by and only stayed over the weekend.

The appartments are new, however, nothing was working! There was a safe which hadn't been installed and when asked to install, it still wasn’t done properly. The AC isn't cold enough and just doesn’t work properly. There is a rancid smell in the building, which didn't seem to go away during our entire stay. Be careful, as they charge you for electricity use, which was extortionate! The bed frame broke a couple of days in, so we had no use of the bed for the day! The rooms are not cleaned unless you request it for an additional charge. The cutlery was dirty and stained, the small pool on our balcony was also dirty. They took money out of our deposit for a "stain" on the bed, claiming it was our fault, which is funny, as we took photos of EVERYTHING before our departure, including the bed and there was no stain! They are scammers, will do anything for money! There are so many wonderful hotels in the area, I'd advise paying a little extra for peace of mind - this place was not worth the money or hassle. There will be 20 of us going back to DR next year and we were hoping to stay here, but we wouldn’t dare, even if the price was halved!!! Can *Definitely* say we won't ever be booking Beach Homes Punta Cana!!

Nicely kept, secure property in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. We had trouble finding the free beach club and the only instructions we kept getting were "yes, down on the beach to the right". We ended up taking pictures to show the office staff, this helped them communicate which one was ours. Once we found it, it was lovely :) We had a unit with a roof top pool which was not clean/usable on arrival. It took 3 days of daily cleaning/service before the pool was usable. There was very little furniture on the rooftop patio with missing cushions, and no shade of any kind which made it unusable in the afternoon. The partial ocean view was very partial.... Bedrooms were nice and clean, beds very comfortable. We did not need to use a/c much, just kept the curtains drawn during the day when out and left the windows/patio doors open in the evening to enjoy the caribbean breeze. Water pressure was quite finicky, but after a few days of playing with the taps we figured out how to get the showers to stay on- we left a faucet on with a tiny trickle of water and then turned on the shower. If we did not do this, the shower water would stop completely after about 2 minutes and take 5 minutes to come back. Microwave was broken and never got replaced despite multiple asks. Lots of free bottled water. Was it perfect? No, but the staff were friendly, the unit was modern, clean & secure, and hey- its 5 minutes to an amazing beach. What more could you ask for :)

We used whats app to communicate & they were very responsive. Day 1 Transfer info was not clear. We had a different driver then stated & no specific instructions of where they would be or which company used. We found them after 40 mins. Drive went well except they expected payment which we had already paid for. (Use a Taxi it would have been $15 cheaper) Code to room was provided no issues. Condo was as expected. Kitchen had most things except kitchen towels or paper towel & no coffee maker. The safe was not available for renters as stated in the description. We requested a coffee maker & it arrived by 1230pm the next day with old coffee grinds in it. Day 2 Took Uber to Jumbo for large grocery shop cost $12 CND which was great. Shopped locally afterwards at Ciccolella was awesome. When we asked about the free beach club mentioned they shared--Beach club was not free & we needed to make a food or drink purchase to access which was fine but the info should have been clear in the description. Day 3 Requested toiletpaper. They indicated only 1 roll was provided for the 10 days we were there which again was fine but this should have been made clear. Day 4 Requested water for the next day. Day 5 No water Day 6 Water arrived thankfully we had enough. Day 7 Only 1 POOL was useable. No contact needed until when I took a photo of hydro meter to pay for electricity on the last day. Overall good stay. Very walkable. Only complaint nearby construction & the pillows on bed were awful.
