"All around this property provides everything! Restaurants, shows, pools, games, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend! Only problem was air conditioner was not working properly in one of our rooms and the seaweed took over beach through no fault of hotel. I think July-September seaweed comes each year. However, seaweed did not interrupt the awesome time we had during our stay."

"Resort itself was very nice, having been to several all-inclusive. Pools (3) were maintained well and warm. Swim up bar was also very nice at the main pool. Our room was upgraded they said. Stayed in a room with 2 beds and 2 couches for 3 people. Room was big but had a few issues. Only a few outlets to charge our phones. The shower always had excess water that went over the bathroom floor. We laid a large towel down to soak it up as we showered. The room was still quite warm even with the AC turned down all the way. The AC leaked from the ceiling right in front of the bathroom door. So we laid a towel down there. Housekeeping was very good! Grounds were well kept. Lots of seaweed on the beach (large piles) and in the water. It’s like that during summer months (July/August), not when I’ve been during the spring time (March/April). Main buffet was good, but didn’t seem to offer much variety day to day. The restaurants were really good and I would recommend."

"This was our first trip to Dominican Republic and as a general experience we loved our vacation time. The property is not too far from the airport. The check in process didn't take that long because I understand July is not high season so not too much tourist traffic, The property is big, different kind of restaurants and a coffee shop that was our favorite spot. You can tell the property is old but well keep. Our room had a nice view directly to the pool. The A/C was ok but not a freezer ( my personal preference ). In general our experince was good the whole weekk we stayed there. The cons: a sales person will approach you ( for the Expedia customers it seems ) and will give a presentation like any other time share property. I didn't know that will happen until I was basically entering in the meeting room. The staff was friendly all the time but I don't like the be pressure to take a decision in minutes about buying a "vacation" membership. This was the only bitter sweet moment of our vacation experience. We usually don't repet the same destination but my family agreed that we are coming back to DR but to a different hotel. It seems their other hotel El Faro is newer and bigger so probably will be that one but hopefully we won't have a similar situation. The other thing I didn't like is the $70 credit when booking with Expedia basically you can't use it because the restrictions, you can't use it all at once and only in some services. I am giving them a 5 starts review."
