"The young woman at the desk when arrived was Alyssa. She was AWESOME!! We had to deal with a few wrinkles to our stay. First the restaurant and tap room are closed the middle of the week. If we had known that we would not have stayed here. But Alyssa was charming and explained it throughly. She provided a list of restaurants and that worked out quite nicely. Then we had booked a standard room. These rooms are on the second floor in the main building The stairway is very uncomfortable. The rise between stairs is very high and the steps narrow and steep. As senior citizens this was unacceptable. When I mentioned this to Alyssa; she did not disagree. She was sympathetic and understanding and provided us with an alternative room in another building This was a nice improvement. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable."

"I was lucky enough to have Room #14 which is set apart from the motel itself. 2 rooms, one bedroom with queen bed, one kitchen sit down table and a full bathroom off the main room/kitchen area. The room wasalways cleaned and towels replaced daily. Checking in was super easy and the woman (I think owner) was amazingly nice and had a very warm personality. Nice pool directly in the middle of the yard and looked really nice. I didn't get the chance to swim, but always had people enjoying it. I'm not a picky person in the least and usually a single traveler, so I give Moosebrook a rating of (9.7/10). I can't speak for the regular motel rooms, but I say if you have the chance to book here, do not hesitate! Thank you for an excellent stay Moosebrook! "

"We rented the cabin, it’s nice for the short term stay. The property is right on the highway, so it was noisy early in the morning. Of course, the bathroom is old and small, the room is fine, have plenty of windows you can open for the fresh air."

"We had stayed here 1 night last year and found the Inn very comfortable and cozy, so decided to return this year. The Inn is under new ownership and they were very accommodating to our needs. Our group had 4 different rooms. Each is unique. The rooms are not large, but comfy-cozy, with woodsy furnishings and very clean. There are lots of activities and games to use, for example, pool, ping pong, tic-tac-toe, etc, as well as an outdoor pool, hot tubs, and sauna. The attached restaurant has nightly entertainment and great food! (Try the SHP burger, Caesar salad, fries/sweet potato fries, nachos!). Service was great! Continental breakfast in the lobby area was adequate to start the day. We already plan to return next August for our annual trip!!"

"The property and the rooms were impeccably clean and well maintained. We stayed as a family of four and had a great experience there. They are located very conveniently right on the road and about 12 minutes away from Mount Washington with great views of the mountains. We would definitely come back again."

"Property was great. Enjoyed a swim in Jackson falls which is within walking distance. Had an issue with the sofa bed in our room but the front desk staff provided us with a new room which we appreciated. The hotel is charming and we enjoyed dinner with our two teens in the tavern onsite and played tennis but the court did not look like it’s been used very much. Breakfast was perfect and staff is very good as well."
