Great pet friendly option to stay close to skiing, hiking, shopping and more! Lobby was cozy and great to hang out in. Rooms had what you needed with a nice river overlook. Service was friendly and prompt. Coffee and continental breakfast choices were great. Great value and convenience.

Location, location...this place was great! It is an older hotel, so it has old carpet, old tile, that old hotel smell...but it was clean, the beds were clean and comfortable, they made coffee and snacks avaiable in the lobby all day. It was right across the street from a good restaurant. It was righr next door to the Jackson covered bridge. They had chairs, a firepit, a swing, a kids playground, all in the back along a beautiful river! And it only a 15 minute drive to the Mt Washington road to the top, less to a beautiful waterfall, and a short drive to many sites, including Willie's House. Modern, no, but We loved it!

This is a very very old property. Literally falling apart. A/C, Fridge, lamps and lights are probably 20yr old. Carpet was dirty. The only best part was their property is next to a river stream and is a beautiful location.

I enjoyed my stay! The parking was easy, check in went smoothly, there is a free coffee/ hot chocolate bar all day and milk etc, lobby has a nice fireplace, room was clean overall, clean towels, nothing fancy, comfy beds, did the trick! I would return in the summer/ fall again! Right next to the Jackson covered bridge

GOOD PLACE

Great room, comfy clean beds with a classic NH ski motel vibe. I bet it’s even better in the summer when you can go see the river. A short walk from two covered bridges! And about a 10 minute drive from MT. Washington. 10/10 recomend

I really wanted to like this place but the room just too shabby & run down. It could be a beautiful cozy place but just needs major updates. The carpet in the hall needs replacing, the vinyl in the bathroom was worn & I couldn’t tell if the floor was dirty or worn. Our sliding door to our balcony didn’t lock. The register covers in the floor were just nasty! Yuk! I pulled the night stand out to plug in my phone & it hadn’t been cleaned in who knows when. I checked the bedding & it appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable & we slept good after a long travel day. The lady that checked us in was friendly. The door to where coffee & breakfast was served was locked at 7:10AM so we just left. The outside of the premises was very pretty except for the crumbled pool which hasn’t been used in years. This could be a gem but is far from it.
