Staff experience really depends on who’s at the front desk — but overall, most of them were great and helpful. Breakfast at the sister hotel was okay, around a 3-star level — nothing special but decent. One downside is that the pool and beach area only open at 10 AM, which felt a bit late. The rooftop was really nice — private and quiet, perfect for a more relaxed, kid-free pool vibe. The location is excellent, right in the gay neighborhood, close to everything and very convenient. Overall, it’s good for the price, but don’t expect anything amazing. I would come back again 👍

A great location, the pool was excellent for the hot days, it was very cool and refreshing! I highly recommend booking through the hotel directly and know which room you’re getting. Our room didn’t have a window that opened and was very small and dark.

Really enjoyed our stay and staff was excellent, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Only issue we had was mattresses were to firm for our liking other than that great place.

The room was comfortable and the bed and shower were good. AC was excellent and quiet compared to other places. Beautiful pool and patio area. Some slight amenities issues such as a broken light in the bathroom and slow drainage in the shower. I would get a junior suite next time. There is no coffee maker or kettle in the standard room and free coffee and hot water in the lobby ends at 10 am. Staff tried to accommodate but it was not the best situation. Also you only get 2 bottles of water when you get housekeeping. Maybe need filtered water canisters. Location was great. Less than 2 blocks from the beach. The room was quiet at night. You get access to the beach club at Los Arcos which was easy to use. Umbrella, towels and chairs set up for you. I had access to the buffet for breakfast at Los Arcos. Good service, decent food and lovely location. I would have liked more non-meat choices at the buffet in the hot food area and additional salad choices. The porridge was essentially milk with a bit of porridge bits here and there. The on demand items like omelettes, quesadillas and hotcakes were excellent. Ate dinner there a few times. Very good food. Entertainment each night at the restaurant which was quite good and varied including musicians, dancers and singers. One time there was breakfast entertainment. The guitarist was amazing. Overall a great place. I would stay again. One of the nicer places I stayed at during the two months in Puerto Vallarta.

Nice and quiet place. Perfect location. Rooftop terrace very nice. Standard room very small, in need for renovational and with little space for clothes. Pool water a little too warm.

Location. The hotel is in a great central location. Easy to get to all of the things going on in the Zona Romantica. The staff was nice. The rooms were clean, but fairly minimal. We changed our room from a standard to a balcony. The standard was quite dark. The patio was very nice and a good place to hang out by the pool and also after hours at night. It was a nice place to come back to after a busy day of adventuring and moving about town.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Wonderful pool and food/bev service. Clean rooms, great hot water and cool AC. Rooms are on the smaller side but ideal for solo traveller who plans to be outdoors! Easy check in and out and fantastic location!!

Room was the same as always, nothing special. Was a tad musty. I honestly stay at this hotel for location and amenities but lately they just aren’t it anymore. The staff has been not the friendliest when just allowing my friends up to my room for 5 seconds to grab my stuff, made it very hard and difficult to get day passes, and to pay for a night for my friend. I understand its December, but there’s a better way to speak to my guest and I then like we are prisoners. Alejandro was the best attendant, front desk person ever! He made my questions simple to be answered, offered me water when I needed it, and just treated me and my guest with the upmost respect. Alejandro at Playa as my server is always the best and he is my favorite! Always keeps my drinks full, makes sure i am taken care of, and i will always come back for them! Power outage didn’t happen this time! Yay! Ac works, and the room is just really musty from the water. That is honestly my only bad remarks. Been coming to PV for over a decade and love this hotel because of the adults only. Very quite. Location is amazing. This time just the service was not great.

Very quiet and clean environment. Maids were super sweet and left cute towel animals every day which I liked. Staff were so kind and caring. Roof top bar was awesome and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the pool. Overall wonderful experience
