"This property was perfect for our family of four. It was cozy with warm blankets, comfortable beds, and comfortable seating. The views were unbelievable! We loved sitting on the front porch, reading a good book, and just taking in the majesty of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The cabin is a short drive from town. We had a great time exploring the town of Westcliffe, - the shops and restaurants. Tony’s, Rocket Pizza, Wild Flour Donuts, Lux Chocolate, All the Range, A Little Worn and More, Sugar Lump Co., and Wet Mountain Treasures were some of our favorites. We even got to see a movie in the Historic Jones theatre! There were mule deer everywhere that loved posing for pictures, lol. It was a great overall visit that we hope to repeat again! "
"This hotel do not accept locals. I was trying to gift my sister that lives in Pueblo a 2 night stay to spend some quality time with her kids and not knowing of this rule, I booked her the room. When she got there, she was rejected. I'm very disappointed. "
Rustic Cozy Cabin at the base of Greenhorn Mountain.
10/10 Excellent
"We had such a great stay here! We brought our toddlers along, and the cabin ended up being a perfect fit for our family. It’s tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting on a calm, quiet street, which made it incredibly relaxing from the moment we arrived. The cabin itself is fun and cozy, and the nearby stream was a really nice touch—we loved spending time just listening to the water and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The bunk beds worked out perfectly for our setup, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals comfortably. The hosts were wonderful to work with—communicative, accommodating, and clearly thoughtful about the guest experience.Overall, this was just a great place to unwind and spend quality time together. We would absolutely come back again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Sasquatch house with us!"
'The Hideaway' - Tucked in the Beautiful Wet Mountain Valley.
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at The Hideaway was amazingly quiet and peacful! My wife and I, and our two dogs, spent three days relaxing, taking afternoon walks and stargazing at this beautiful location. As we drove up the small valley to The Hideaway we stopped to take photos of the small deer herd and as we pulled into the driveway we were greeted by another small herd. The Hideaway was very clean and had all the appliances and amenities we could ask for. The stove and refrigerator were spotless and fresh and worked perfectly; making our cooking times so enjoyable. My wife commented several times that staying at The Hideaway was just as comfortable as being in our own home. The large windows in the sun and great rooms let all the brilliant sunshine in and enjoying an afternoon breeze while playing pool was fantastic!A quick drive back down the valley into Westcliffe was a great opportunity to see more deer and enjoy handmade chocolates from Lux and amazing sandwiches at the Dutch Pantry & Deli (we're always sure to visit both places any time we're in Westcliff). When we left The Hideaway we experienced a beautiful drive north on 271/143 into Canon City and had a great lunch at Big Burger World.Visiting Westcliffe is always fun and staying at The Hideaway made our short vacation even more special!"
Tri-level, 4 bedroom, spacious, home away from home in a quiet neighborhood.
10/10 Excellent
"We were in Colorado for a destination wedding so unfortunately we didn't use the house to its full potential. There was a nice touch of some candies waiting for you near the guest book. Very spacious, nicely decorated. Every bed is different so you need to goldielocks it by seeing which is soft, which is hard and which is just right for each individuals preference. If you are mobility challenged this will be difficult to navigate. Will definitely stay here again. "
