"We truly loved our 2 week stay here at this beautiful home! Everything was so perfect! The mountain views are even more breathtaking in person! The deck is awesome too, we had a 14 month old & we didn’t have to worry about her, as there are no steps on it. She loved to play on it while we just sat there relaxing & enjoying the scenery. Loved seeing the mule deer often right there, especially the 3 huge bucks that hung out with the does. One Sunday after going to the Catholic Church in Rye, we toured the Bishop’s Castle which was only approx. 17 miles away from the VRBO, and it was totally amazing, then continued on down the road for a lovely ride thru the mountains, and also loved seeing the leaves starting to change to the Fall colors. The next Sunday, after church, we went to Pueblo to the Arkansas Riverwalk which was awesome, with so much to see. Colorado City, where the VRBO is located, has some very nice restaurants and also an awesome Bolt Burger place, a real nice grocery store & pharmacy, a mechanic vehicle repair shop, and even an Ace Hardware and golf course. The people here at this town are so accommodating! We sure hope to be back as we hated to leave this place. We had the best hosts! Thanks so much! The Zimmerer’s from Nebraska"

"Great stay in Westcliffe as always! We were able to check in a bit early which was awesome since we got to Westcliffe that morning. Mountain views were great from the cabin and sitting out on the deck was perfect. My wife and our two dogs loved it!"

"Everything was as good or even usually better than we expected. Stayed at a lot of places-and every once and a while owners try to think of every little thing that would be there to make staying almost like at home-this is one of those places-great place-peaceful -and just what we needed."

"LaVonne was absolutely responsive and lovely. There was no cell phone service or WiFi and the property is quite remote. She tried to resolve the issue but it was not in her control -- Hughes net could not respond until Monday. It's a quiet and beautiful setting."

"What a lovely house! The decor is fresh and pretty, and the house is very clean and well-appointed. The host has it stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen - including a few thoughtful snacks. The beds are extremely comfortable and have nice bedding. This house has so much charm! The host was friendly and responsive.Great location to walk to Stomping Grounds, Beulah Inn, and the general store. Highly recommend!"
